I feel like being silly and fannish. I've decided to inflict my silly fannishness on all of you.

Bellow the cut, you will find a series of strange competitions between Buffy verse characters. Tell us who you think would win and why. Assume all matches are no holds barred cage style.


Round One
The Contestants: Xander vs. Andrew
The Competition: Klingon love haiku

Round Two
The Contestants: Anya vs Gunn
The Competition: Yodeling

Round Three
The Contestants: Jesse vs Doyle
The Competition: Who can put on the red shirt the fastest

Round Four
The Contestants: Larry vs Kate
The Competition: Most unused heroic potential

Round Five
The Contestants: Harmony vs The First
The Competition: Talking. To the DEATH!

Round 1: Andrew, he just seems to me like he could actually use Klingon in it's proper romantic context.

Round 2: Anya. She was sorta...Nordic or something in her previous life, ya never know.

Round 3: Doyle. I mean, come on, it's Doyle.

Round 4: Uhm....Kate. She sjust sorta mopes around, yanno?

Round 5: Tie. Too close to call it.

Round 1: Andrew because I think Xander may forget some of his old knowledge...unless he's been secretly studying without any of us knowing. :O

Round 2: Anya. Definitely. I agree with the above comment.

Round 3: Doyle! Jesse was kind of lame. And honestly, Xander and Willow didn't seem too broken up by the loss, lol. Sad, but true. They were like, eh whatever, we have this new cool fighting friend now!

Round 4: Larry. <3 I have so much love for Larry. I totally coulda seen him joining in with the Scoobies every once in a while during season 4.

Round 5: Harmony. I think even the First would get annoyed by her talking about France. There's only so much pure-Evil can take.

Round One: Andrew. I think Xander might consider not winning this a victory on its own.

Round Two: Anya. I just don't think Gunn, despite his competitive nature, could endure that level of personal embarrassment (for long enough to win anyway).

Round Three: Is this the type of red shirt that doesn't fit too well on away team members? XD;; If so, Jesse. I mean, I had to wiki to remember how he died.

Round Four: Larry. White Hats<3

Found Five: Toss up. I mean, all the First would do is have to turn into Spike to send the girl crying, right?

Round 1: Andrew. I think Xander has turned less geeky after a while.
Round 2: Anya. Gunn doesn't yodel unless he drops something on his foot.
Round 3: I'm afraid I'm not getting this one. Who died the quickest? Jesse.
Round 4: Kate. I don't even remember Larry. *cough*
Round 5: Harmony. Everyone, even the first, would run screaming after half an hour with Harm.

Round 1: Neither, they'd both recognize that Klingon doesn't do haiku, but rather sonnets - making it all a moot point, yes?
Round 2: Gunn - because he does love to sing - of course, he'd have to wear a mask and say he isn't Gunn.
Round 3: Red shirts? As in Star Trek? I'd say Jesse - he was something of a red herring or some such, yes?
Round 4: They could be a team!
Round 5: Uhm...Harmony's already dead. So really, the First could use Harmony to talk to herself and then just sorta step away and try to take over the world some other way.

Round 1: Andrew - as much as Xander has geek in him, he is not worthy :)
Round 2: Anya - girl's got some pipes on her. I mean, hello, Once More With Feeling? It's bunnies, bunnies, bunnies, yo.
Round 3: Jesse, poor guy. But there was no room for two Xander-shaped friends
Round 4: Kate... she was a tough bitch who didn't get the chance :)
Round 5: Harmony - at least with the First, they change it up in who's talking.

Round Two: Anya, all the way. That girl can do it.
Round Three: Jesse.
Round Four: Larry seems like he could've gone far. I don't really know Kate from my Angel exposure.
Round Five: Harmony. Talks. So. Much. How can I not say that, in this journal? Especially having to put up with both sides.

Round One: Oh, SO not even a fair competition. Totally Andrew.

Round Two:
Anya. With as long as she's been around, I'm *sure* she has acquired some hidden talents that we don't know about. Yodeling is totally one of them.

Round Three:
Doyle, ftw!

Round Four:
Kate. I always wanted her to come back, actually. *sigh*

Round Five:
Harmony, resulting in a drastic drop in IQ on The First's part.
