Niks and Chris did something that only one half of that dynamic? duo would ever admit to doing: rob from a demon. Niks hired Chris to do some dirty work, off and on, and once they returned to Cleveland, the dirty work was on. The two went to the nicer part of town, a place Niks had been to before, and raided the attic, grabbing what might be valuable. Unfortunately, Chris had to take down a guard first, using said guard as a battering ram, in a quick bit of thinking. Doubly unfortunately (yes, that can happen), the attic was booby trapped with nasty scorpions that grow as they chase their targets, a definite rip off from certain book series - Niks was appalled by the lack of demonic creativity. They get away, but not without witty comments and a good bit of running.
