Alex Riley decided to take time out of her busy school schedule and pay that annoying, little smoking Slayer a visit at the hospital, just so she can get to know Faith and see whether or not she wanted any further contact. The two actually hit it off fairly smoothly, even without the bribe of Joe's Diner food in hand right there. (Niks may have one up on Alex, just for that.) Faith learned a bit about Alex's quirky personality, and Alex learned that the expanded Scoobies already found a place to live, which was news to her. Despite that, she agreed to help Faith try and get an early release from the hospital before she goes cabin crazy. Alex leaves Faith with a book to keep her occupied, promised to bring back some good diner food, and also, to talk to Giles about pulling some strings (I typed in 'drinks' at first... goes to show you where my mind has been...).
