Hi all,

Due to health reasons, I'm forced to admit I do not know when, or if, NL is going to be updated again. There are a lot of things that were planned - another season or maybe movies, plus DVD extras for s6 - but it takes a lot of time and energy to make those happen and unfortunately right now I have neither.

Many thanks to everyone who supported s6 and who waited so patiently with the hopes of there being an s7. Also my apologies that my control freak nature meant it took this long for me to admit that it might not be happening.

ETA: Also, mega, MEGA thanks to the whole NL team for all their hard work and making s6 happen. As always if it rocked it's thanks to them, and the parts that sucked were totally my fault. ;)

Hey all,

Just an update from your showrunner that we're still alive and kicking. Granted this hurts a lot of people who stand near us but we say fie on them! Or possibly "to heck with!" If we are alive we shall kick, and damned be anyone who foolishly keeps their shins in range. We've had weddings, conventions, graduations, illnesses, vacations, computer problems - you name it, we've been through it, and we'll breathe and kick at the same time if we want to.

So, yes! We're still here. I realize that's hard to see from your end but behind the scenes we are working our firm and attractive butts off. Basically the hope right now is that once we're up and running we can get the rest of the season to you without anymore huge waits like this one. (Which naturally means I've just jinxed that possibility but - shhh! Maybe Fate won't notice and shove another one of our writers down a staircase - Fate, btw, apparently not so much a fan of all the screentime Spike's been getting. Tsk.)

So stay tuned, sports fans. Or fans of No Limits because that'd make a lot more sense. Sports fans can stay tuned as well but I can promise you Angel is not going to start wearing basketball shorts. Except possibly in episode 17, but if that's the case those shorts are going to be the least of his problems. Higher on the list would be things like ( spoiler ), and ( spoiler ), and ( yet another spoiler )

So as you can see, things are a-hoppin'. We hope to be up and running like little rabbits within two shakes of a Drokkin's tail, just as soon as we find out how long two shakes of a Drokkin's tail is. In the meanwhile, thanks for your patience and for not hitting me with pies for this very bad imitation of Joss's own posting style ;).

Hi all! Just some updates from behind the scenes:

As some of you have guessed, we're currently on a short hiatus between episode 14 and 15. Basically various real life scheduling problems (illness, family emergencies, cons, vacations, end of the school year, etc.) meant that getting episodes out in the twice a week schedule of before would've required short-changing everyone on quality. We'd much rather give you guys good episodes than fast episodes, so we're taking some extra time to catch our breath and give the rest of the season the attention it deserves.

We're still ironing out the posting schedule, and you'll be updated to know when new eps are coming.

In the meanwhile we'll still be posting things up on the website. For instance there's been a request for more information on how the season is put together, plus we'll have a few tricks up our sleeves for keeping you amused 8)

Somewhat related to that, we got word just this week that we need to move the site onto new webspace. That process is in the works. The NL domain name isn't going to change, but there may be some hiccups as we move everything and point the domain towards the new site. Luckily this came during hiatus so hopefully it won't cause any of you too many glitches, but in case that happens now you know why.

We're also going to hold off on updating the website until the move is complete. I admit to being a total n00b with regards to this kind of thing so I don't know how long changes like that need to take place, but I'll post to let you all know when it's done. (The site will still be up in the meanwhile.)

Finally, we have fanfic! A few have asked if it's okay to do NL fanfic * and gradiva has actually taken the plunge. It's two "gapfiller" ficlets that can be found here and take place around episode 7. Consider this both a pimp and a rec, as they're both very well-written. Once the website is updated we'll post a copy of them there as well.
