ATPo Meet: Details finalised
"Official" dates for the Meet are June 15-17 (Friday-Sunday). However people will be arriving as early as Wednesday, June 13, and staying as late as Thursday, June 21. I myself will be around for as long as people are in the city. *g*

MEETING ROOM
Tentative dates for meeting room: June 14, 15, 16, and 18. (Will not be booking June 17 because room is unavailable, sorry.) Unless somebody emails me with an objection by 4pm EST today, I'm signing the contract and putting down my credit card for the meeting space. (Failure to cancel 14 days prior to function will result in first day charges to my credit card. But we've got 3 months.)

Hotel rooms are booked INDIVIDUALLY.

• Meeting room = $210.94 per day ($180.49 USD per day)
• A/V equipment, hotel rate = $50 per day (might try outside source)

Let me know how you want to go about payment for the room at some point. I can get a draft in American or Canadian dollars to give to Rob or you, or pay myself, though in the latter case I'll probably need to bring more cash.

Do we need the conference room for the 18th if that's not an official day? Seeing how things worked in the past, on non-official days people tend to wander off to site-see. I'm mainly thinking about how to limit the shared expenses.

Yeah, good point. I was thinking I could book it for now and have the room available if we need it, and maybe cancel it later. But you're right about the touristy stuff, we probably don't need the room on the 18th.

And actually am interested in going to that show. I can look into group rates, if you want, in case anyone else is interested, since purchasing theatre tickets is second nature to me. ;-)

I'm assuming Ninerva will still want to room with me after I've subjected her to a week of touring wine country here...
and I agree with Masq that the conference room probably won't be necessary on the 18th, if we're doing a touristy type day.
