I think i just booked a fligth from Stockholm to Bremen for about 10 euros.... that's crazy!

Not completely sure though, because i booked it in swedish crones. So i'll wait till it's actually booked off the credit card (of my father) but it really looked like i paid 96SEK!

And Yay! It's only one month until i see my dogs again!

On the 8th of august i'll go with my parents to their summer-cottage, stay there about one week and then take the night train to Lapland :)

Until i hopefully find a new appartement.

But otherwise i'll work about 4 days a week until then.
I don't like to work. Don't know, it's a nice job, nice people. I just don't like this "going to work".

Death Knight intro cinematic

I will tank as a Death Knight, because tanking is what I do.

That's right, HH saw The Dark Knight at 12:01am.

Some of the best moments were before the actual movie started. Everyone that was there was there for a good time, and we were complete strangers and making jokes. We joked about actually being there to see Batman, we joked about how we were only there for the previews.

Earlier when we were standing in line we had theater workers asking us if we were standing in the right line. RJ, Matt and myself all say "Yes." However Michael turned around and said "No, we're here to see Hancock." The guy laughed and left.

Only did we find out that the theater we saw TDK in, #9, played Hancock.

10/10. A++. Whatever you want to rate this movie, it's the highest score you can get. There were times we clapped, went "OH MY GOD" out of fear and awesome, and times where everyone just fell silent. It is a true people movie. And really that's all Batman is at heart, I think. Is people.

CATASTROPHE: Today they removed the mole above my eyebrow. WHICH IS BAD BECAUSE APPARENTLY I EMOTE MOSTLY THROUGH MY EYEBROWS. It's like when you get a papercut on your thumb, and suddenly you realize you use your thumb ALL THE TIME, and every time you have to pick up a piece of paper or turn on a light or punch your little brother your hand is like "OH MY GOD WHAT ARE YOU DOING THE PAIN" which is sad times.

Alex: Dude, I'd worry about these guys stroking out or having a heart attack or something.

Alex: Oh my god, so, I just thought of the perfect Scare Tactics. So say I want to set you up for it, so I sign you up to be scared, but-- but then the situation they put you in, they say, "Danny, we're going to set up your sister to be scared and you're going to help us," and then you guys do something hella scary, and then I'm all, "OMG HEART ATTACK TIEM NAO" And then you're like, "OH MY GOD I KILLED MY SISTER" and then-- and then I'm all "OMG FOOLED YOU" and we all laugh!

Danny: ...That's evil. No, wait! Even better! So we prank them! They think they're helping you prank me, right, and then you fake a heart attack, and then I'm like, "OH MY GOD I KILLED MY SISTER" and then-- and then I pull out a blood spurting knife and "stab" myself with it, and then you wake up and run to them, all "OH MY GOD YOU KILLED MY BROTHER" and they freak out and you're all, "ARE YOU SCARED? Dude. I just spent almost an hour straight explaining to my family in excruciating detail just how much Twilight sucks.

Right now, at this moment (precisely 6:05 PM Central), my hair looks PERFECT. Even though I was in semi-darkness fumbling around flatfooted with a hairtie and my brush that kind of hates my curls, when I turned on the light and squinted at myself in my crooked mirror MY HAIR TOTALLY ROCKED. And the short bits in front (they're really too long to be bangs now, but I'm not sure what you'd call them), for whatever reason they decided to be completely straight, like, IRONED-FLAT-STRAIGHT, which my hair never does, and wow. WOW!

I'm going to enjoy this moment for as long as it lasts. *basks*

I have a 12,000 word exchange story that needs a quick going over.  And I kind of need it back before, say, Friday.  My regular beta crew has been fabulous but many/most of them have hit a particularly busy time of year so I'm looking for anyone who'd like to be added to the beta filter.  (Folks already on it will stay on it unless you ask me to take you off).

So. Going to California in just over 14 hours (that's when I"ll be boarding mah plane). Going to go and hang with Morgan verycleanindeed and Holly kindoftrouble and Gussie (Morgan's doggie!). And we will be going to Disneyland early next week and Comic Con next Thursday. Staying until Sunday.

I'm like, going numb from how excited I am. I'm not done packing, but I don't have much to go. And gahhhhlksdjflsjdfskldf.

We go to Western Sizzlin regularly (it's a steakhouse with a fantastic salad bar with great variety), and our favorite waitress, when finding out I was going was 'awww, take me with you!' (which is what most of my co-workers have said, without the aww, lol). And then she asked if mom was going, and I said no. And she said "aahh, got a secret boyfriend then!" like seriously. It was an aha moment for her.

I do not have a secret boyfriend, or a boyfriend. Though, a neighbor also assumed it. WTF. I'm going to hang out with my GIRL BUDDIES. Though there may be some ogling of boys I'd ungay for (Hello, Flanigan-but-I-will-pretend-is-Sheppard so can ogle. Hello Shaaaaaaaanks.), there will be much more girl ogling (as oh. my. god. Geek. Girls. Yay.). So dammit. I'm not straight, and I am not having a secret fling. lol.

Also, dude from work asked mom to ask me to call him so he can tell me to meet certain people out there.

If he pays me then yes. LOL. Or if it coincides with mee own interests, as dude. Seriously. Not going to have time to sprint hither and thither.

I know I hardly ever update, and I'm only around LJ when I WANT something, but bear with me for a moment, won't you?

I don't talk about family on here a lot, but I'm very very VERY proud of my one and only baby brother, who is, among other things (such as gifted with an acerbic wit much like my own), an AMAZING guitarist. His band, Down From Up, has an album available on iTunes, and this fall they're headed to Afghanistan to play in a USO tour for the troops. And probably smoke a LOT of weed while they're at it.

Aaaanyway... DFU has the chance to play as the opening pre-show band at the upcoming Rock Against Diabetes benefit in Las Vegas, and if you go HERE, you can scroll down and vote for them, and maybe help boost their chances. That's right, it's 2.4.3 time after maintnance today. I stole the patch notes from MMO Champion, but I've clipped some for note.

THANK EFFING GOD. Seriously. The ridiculousness of people showing up for raids or even 5 mans while flagged, forcing EVERYONE else to flag up in order to keep them buffed was.. ridiculous. And, as usual, leaving it up to the player to be sure they've dropped their flag before a raid or instance group was like asking my brother or sister to be dependable and earn a living on their own. This is awesomeness.

That pretty much speaks for itself. Nothing wrong with that at all.
