::her door swishes open and she stands there in the doorway looking around. The halls had been deserted practically due to something going on in the city. She was not the type of person to sit by and watch things happen, so she leaves her room in search of someone who might be of some help to her. She remembers that she has to be careful though, for she doesn't know what she is dealing with.::

::Shoves past Carson and continues out of the infirmary increasing his pace:: Must find....
::Stops suddenly:: Hmmmm..... ::Wanders over to transporter and presses to go to iso where Rodney and Casman are::

::Sheppard finally gets his team together in hazmat suits to search for Weir::

::They nod at him::

::Sheppard slowly scans the abandoned hallway. His hazmat suit squeaks with every step. God he hates these things::

::Sheppard taps his head set::

Sick bay, how’s everything going up there?

*Comes to* Ugghhh...where? *Sees Carson* Carson... where others? What? *Rolls off bed and gets up* Boring... need... need... *Walks over to Beckett and stares at him for a moment* No... *Turns to exit* yes... *starts to walk towards exit unsteadily*

We now need a Aiden Ford character, so if any of you know of anyone who wants to be Aiden please tell me.

*comes back from way the heck in the back of the labs where he couldn't hear anyone* ((OOC: Sorry about not posting; I'm just a terrible person))

*looks around, sees Zelenka passed out on the floor, Cadman and McKay standing around looking worried, and a conspicuous lack of Wier*
What's goin' on? Where's Elizabeth? Why esn't Radek on a bed? Laura, Rodney, ge' him up onto a bed! An' don't touch th' vomit! Whose es tha', anyway?

::Is sitting with Elizabeth patiently for Carson to give his explanation::
I don't feel so well... perhaps I should have cleaned up after Elizabeth threw up though how can a little bit on the bottom of my shoes really affect me? Maybe I should ask Carson he's smart like Rodney. No wait Rodney says he's a genius maybe I should ask him but then he says voodoo and i don't want to be a pin cushion I won't let Carson use magic on me!
::Stands up::

::Collapses on the floor::

Laying almost on the infirmary bed a wave of sickness blew over her and then felt that pain in her head again,"Oh...no" and then the creepiest smile appeared on her face. Sitting up she looked around as if everything was new and stood. Looking at something curiously, a stethoscope, she wrapped it around her neck and pranced off.

::Sitting in infrimary waiting for Carson to come back with test results:: I hope she will be alright the mission to get technology is important enough but has been there for 10 000 years can wait a few more days. Rodney could afford to show some more concern for her she has been good firend and leader from the start.

*takes a deep breath and exhales with a sigh, sitting back down on the steps of the 'Gate room with his arms crossed*

It's always something. We find a new planet with perfect technology just waiting for us, and something always happens. It's part of the routine: we just can't go out there and get the stuff, can we? What's going to happen next time? Atlantis resinks? We all die?That's not even an excuse!

*taps his radio* =/\= Major?=/\=

Glancing at her watch she raises an eyebrow in disbelief as she scoops up a her not yet finished pile of tormenting report folders and files. Knowing she is going to be yelled at by somebody,"I don't recall being told about any briefing..." she whispers struggling out the door with reports in hand and her headset struggling towards her ear on in the other.

Walking around the corner she bumps into one of the scientists knocking all of the folders out of her arms onto the floor. "Sorry," she sweeps down to pick all of them up and nods to the man standing dumbfounded in her way. Fixing her mess, she taps onto her head piece and calls to the now Colonel Sheppard,"John you there?" she steps into the transporter baring the weight of so many reports and the guilt of being so late to her post.

Rodney there is not problems with radios again is there it is taking Dr Weir an awfully long time to respond. I am not going on this mission without working radios, Rodney will probably make Carson or me an errand runner. No probably me he'll want Carson close to him incase he gets a papercut.

Walks to the balcony with head set on standby and a computer in one hand she watches has the team assembles below her.

*Walks into Gate room* Where is everyone? We are leaving soon no? *Sits down on the steps to wait for the others and starts going through pack to make sure he has everything he needs*

Ladies and Gentleman, Ok... That doesn't sound right.

Thanks to kinky_carter, I've been made one of the moderators for our lovely RP.


I have just created metatlantis to be our OOC Community. I would like all of you to join with your personal accounts as well as watch the community with your characters' account.All OOC discussions should take place on metatlantis. I would like for us to get started playing soon, but to do so I like for us to have created a brief outline of how things are going to go. If we are in agreement of the newly suggested plot of rescuing Ford, I'd like to see responds on metatlantis.


Quick Rules


Remember character's personal journals should be used for subplots. Subplots will nothave to be approved by the mods. So feel free to do whatever you guys want.


All pairings must have the consent of both writers. I'm sorry guys, but I don't want people getting mad because their character is being used without permission.


This isn't a rule, but... a recommendation. If you are going to be gone and unable to post for while, please I beg of you, let us know so we aren't wondering where you are.

Ok, I think that's everything for now.

Okay so we have the characters, and we have yet to get a plot, so what does everyone have in mind?

When in the series timeline are we supposed to be? Because we have Ford and Dex.
Is it non-exsistant third season never-never land or what? AU second season?

I just joined, and I'm eager to get into this game on the ground.

Just a couple of suggestions from previous RP experience:

First, have a page of player resources, like www.gateworld.net, because, for instance, I watched that ep that Dr. Mckay referenced below, but I saw it when it was first on, so I don't really remember it. And I'm not home every Friday to catch them all, so knowing where I could go to get a summary would be great.

The other thing is, maybe there should be a separate community for this type of plotting and OOC stuff, so that anyone who's not a player and wants to read a thread won't get bogged down in other stuff.

Edit Just thought of something else . . . maybe character bio sheets so as we develop characters we can put down their little quirks.
