I'm completely fascinated by this:
Dr Edgar Mitchell, said he was aware of several UFO visits during his career, but each one had been covered up.
The 77-year-old, who was a crew member of the Apollo 14 mission, said sources at the space agency had described aliens as resembling "little people who look strange to us".
Dr Mitchell told Kerrang! Radio that human technology was "not nearly as sophisticated" as theirs and had they been hostile, he warned: "We would be been gone by now".
He said: "There's not much question at all that there's life throughout the universe, we are not alone at all. I'm most assured about that.
That bit of the interview here:
The question is, is Dr. Mitchell saying this to get it out in the open,
is he having a laugh, or is he being paid off as a promotional stunt for
the release of the X-Files movie?

I just loaded up my iPod with a ton of stand-up comedy.
I spent yesterday's walk home listening to Jake Johannsen and Michael Ian Black.
You get some interesting looks when you're walking down the street
laughing to yourself. Especially if they don't notice you
until just after the laugh. They just look at you in time
to see a goofy smile on your face as you make eye contact.
Really creeps them out.

| The "best" fight scene ever |

Somehow I found myself on a thread of youtube fight videos.
This one was labeled "best fight scene ever."
Oh and it is. And it has the best pair of one-liners at the end.
And I think you know what I mean by "best."
Of couse, for my money you can't talk about a fight scene
without acknowledging the awesomeness of the They Live fight scene.
Fun bit of trivia:
Rowdy Roddy Piper made a career of fake fighting,
so he knew how to throw a punch that wouldn't land hard.
Keith David, on the other hand, had a dance background.
Great for body movement, not so good for holding back a punch.
Piper really got his ass kicked during the filming of this scene.

Normalerweise gehöre ich nicht zu den Menschen die wegen kleinen und an sich unbedeutenden Meinungsverschiedenheiten kicken, aber was du gesagt hast oder viel mehr wie du es gesgat hast geht mir nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Ich hab versucht es einfach abzuhaken und weiter zu gehen, aber es will mir einfach nicht aus dem Kopf. Ich fühle mich unwohl und deshalb ist meine logische Konsequenz ein Kick. Ich weiß, es ist dir gegenüber nicht fair und irgendwie verhalte ich mich dadurch idiotisch, doch es geht nicht anders. Auch wenn dir das nichts bringt oder du es dir durch meine Aktion vollkommen egal ist, wünsche ich dir alles Gute für dein weiteres Leben und ich hoffe dass es genau so verlaufen wird, wie du es dir vorstellst. Es tut mir wirklich leid, dass ich nicht imstande bin über diese Sache hinweg zu sehen. Good bye.
