Bugger, thinks I, although, I thought to myself, better to be called now and get it over with than called at 2pm! So I ring switchboard. "Oh" she says, "I'll just put you through." So I wait. Finally..."Hello, A&E" Oh shit a stabbing or a shooting. So I say who it is and they say "Ohh, right. Sorry, I was trying to get hold of the angiography on call team. Sorry!" "No problems" says I with a big grin on my face. If there is an on call I love to be paged about, it's being paged and being told IM NOT NEEDED BECAUSE THEY WANT THE OTHER TEAM!!! So yay, woke up earlier than I really wanted, but got back to sleep no probs. And, even better, daughter L has come home from karate and her teacher just phoned me to say how brilliant she'd done. I'm so proud of her, bless her heart, and it cannot have been easy doing karate in this heat. Finally, I just went on my bingo site and won £100!!! Straight away!!! Yeah...good day, methinks. Ooh forgot to say, when I did get out of bed, Pros was on! Heheheheh Now, if only I could have some lager...LOL Hope everyone is having a pretty decent weekend. The Dark Knight [25 Jul 2008|07:51pm] reiko_afterglow I saw "The Dark Knight" in theatres two days ago and I really enjoyed it. Which is a surprise as I've never really been the type for superhero movies. Never even saw a Batman movie before. (Don't worry, no spoilers here) The movie was a bit hard to get into at first during the first half hour (lots of exposition) but then it took off from there. All of the acting was great, and the story was very character-driven, and CGI special effects were kept to a minimum. They were excellent enhancement when they were there, but the movie wasn't propped up with tons of SFX, which is always good to see in movies these days. Tons of plot twists, I was surprised at several points in the movies which doesn't happen a lot with me when I watch films. Heath Ledger's Joker = Creeepy. I had to stifle giggles at the character name "Lucius" - I mean, if there's a guy named "Lucius", don't expect me to take him seriously right away with a name like "Lucius". post comment

I mean, I actually doubt it'd be pretty visible to anyone but I can FEEL the gap. ...and when I have my hair cut you'd probably be able to see an uneven area at the back there. Then, I was shaving the other side of my neck and managed to do it AGAIN, though not quite as much. THANK YOU, OZZA, YOU BRAIN SURGEON, YOU. YOU'RE SO SMART, I BET YOU COULD GO ON UNIVERSITY CHALLENGE AND FLATTEN THE OXBRIDGE KIDS SINGLEHANDEDLY ffffffttttttttt xD p.s. Look at how cute gay Percy is being in my little mood theme thing.
