Congratulations to Chipper Jones for winning the batting title. He kind of backed into it, but it is still a win, and we should salvage what we can from this season. It pads his Hall of Fame resume, and I'm happy he did it. He was just a point behind Mantle for best average in a single season for a switch-hitter. Good job, Chip!

I am so happy for him. He really deserved it, especially after coming so so close last year and losing it.
