removing stickers
ok how on earth do I remove these little UPC stickers from my new ceramic mugs? The ceramic isn't glossy so the first sticker I tried removing left a paper residue on the mug.

thank you :o)

edit
thanks everyone - I tried [info]dreamwalker1's suggestion of warm soapy water and a green scrubby pad (since that was all I had on hand). it worked beautifully.

windex and a sponge might work... maybe dipping the bottoms of the mugs in vinegar

I have a solvent called OOPS. It takes lipstick and crayon off walls. It removes gum, laytex paint, tar...and yep the label on the can says sticker residue too..

I usually use hot soapy water and lots of elbow grease. 15 years of retail experiance taught me that.

My daughter mentioned something about olive oil being a good way to remove stickers...it wouldn't hurt to try it.

Lighter fluid works really well... on ceramics and glossy paper (like those sale stickers on books etc)

I paint ceramics and glass, works great!

I see you have your problem resolved, BUT for future reference, this stuff works AWESOME for exactly stuff like that. :)

That's some big ass Goo Gone there! I love the stuff, use it all the time, well, whenever I need to be gone with the goo. :)
