i love atlanta but i'm craving some pho
so right now i am at 8th and penn i guess. i am from philly, and yesterday we drove out the highway to eat chinese but i was so happy cuz i saw a bunch of Pho places which is what i am craving right now. problem is i dont have a car right now, dont have money for a taxi and dont have time for Marta.

is there any Pho places or azn groceries within a 15 min walking distance of penn and 8th? i can figure out maps and walking and stuff but i;m kinda guessing there are no pho places around midtown. when i googled, it mostly gave me all the locations i saw yesterday.

any help is appreciated thx.

There is a place on Piedmont (just before Cheshire Bridge) called Saigon Basil. it's kind of "fast food" style pho but it's still good if you've got a craving!

Have I mentioned I love your icon? I realized I wasn't the first to think of this, but I had to get in my own version. :-)

OMFG PHO! I moved here last year from seattle, where pho is basically a staple of our diet. I have been sorely disappointed by the lack of pho places in atlanta. I've actually only seen one, & it was while I was lost one time, so I can't even find my way back to it.

The best places are located up on Buford. In fact, a google map search of places near you brings up a ton on Buford. I realize no car, but if you want the best of the best, I recommend finding a ride. :)

I don't know of any in Midtown, but I always laugh when I see the restaurant called What the Pho? on Pleasant Hill in Duluth. :)

Noodle on Peachtree at 8th has pho. It's not great pho, but it should fill that empty hole in your gut.

There's also supposedly a new Vietnamese place on Broad Street downtown.
