American Sign Language?
I am interested in learning ASL, but my google-fu is not helping me find anywhere in Atlanta that offers classes. Does anyone know of any ASL classes? Paying for them is fine, and I'd prefer ITP. Anyone? Thanks!

they offer classes for an associates degree of course, but there is also a link on there with sites you might find helpful in getting started. the program head would probably also be able to direct you somewhere more appropriate for casual study.

I know this is not going to help you at all, but there is someone around here that offers classes. I've seen them in one of those continuing ed type booklets that I get in the mail every now and then. You know the type, the ones that have cooking classes, photography classes, language classes (including ASL)--the crafty stuff.

I can't for the life of me remember who sends them out, though, since I haven't taken any of the classes..... It's in the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area, so right around the ITP/OTP border. That's about all I can remember. It wasn't a college, it was strictly for entertainment purposes type stuff.

Sorry! If I see another one come in the mail, I'll try to post the info. In the meantime, my own google-fu turned up the GA Assoc. of the Deaf website and their links page has some resources.
