Attention Parents: MusikGarten Classes Starting Soon in Decatur!
I'm posting this on behalf of a close friend who is offering the classes.
If you're the parent or caretaker of a child aged birth - 5 years, MusikGarten is a wonderful introduction to music and movement for the young child. I've attended her classes and will gladly answer any questions you might have. You can also contact her directly.
She is also offering a free preview class if you'd like to check it out, and talk to her about pro-rating the classes, too, if you're not able to begin right away.

The next session will be 7 weeks long each Saturday from February 9-March 22.
Classes will meet at Scott Boulevard Baptist Church--2532 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, 30033 located at the corner of Scott Blvd. and N. Decatur Rd.
The class schedule/tuition is as follows:
All classes will meet Saturdays February 9, 16, 23, and March 1, 8, 15, and 22.
Babies (ages birth to newly walking/talking):
From newborn to newly walking--you decide if this class or Toddlers is more appropriate for baby. If your child is from 12 months to 18 months, base his/her placement on how well he/she walks and speaks. Babies under 12 months should be in baby class, regardless. I will be glad to help you determine which class is appropriate.
Classes meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Tuition: $70* Optional family packet: $35
Toddlers (around 15 months to 3 1/2 years):
Again, base your decision on which class to enroll in on your child's verbal and walking ability. If baby/toddler is 12 to 18 months walking confidently (able to run) and speaking a few words, place him/her in Toddler class. Otherwise, Baby class will be more appropriate.
If your 3 to 3 1/2 year old is very verbal, confident, or has a lot of exposure to classes, school or other kids, place him/her in the Cycle of Seasons class. If he/she is less socially mature or experienced or not as verbal he/she will thrive in the Toddler class. The Cycle of Seasons class uses a lot more quiet focused listening and imagination. If your little one is not ready for this, he/she will enjoy the Toddler class more. Please e-mail or call for advice on class placement.

To register please e-mail or call (404) 492-5193. If e-mailing, leave your name, your child's name, DOB, and which class you are registering for. If you call, please leave your name and number so I can return your call.
Checks can be mailed to me, please call for my mailing address. Cash or check will also be accepted the first day of class, but please register prior to that to ensure your child has a space.
Remember--Musikgarten's curriculum is designed for one child and one adult. Adults will be participating in the class, too!
