Dekalb Tech
Can anyone tell me anything about Dekalb Technical College? My partner has a general associates but wants to go back for an Associates in Applied Sciences in Accounting. We're close to Dekalb Tech and GPC but GPC seems priced a little high for a two year college (they charge what SPSU charges me for my Masters courses). Dekalb Tech also has that handy dandy quarter system.

Any input is appreciated.

I can't speak for Dekalb Tech, but I highly recommend checking to make sure they are accredited. Before I went to Chatt Tech I went to North Metro, half way in my studies I discovered that they were not accredited (they are now). So if I ever want to switch to KSU, I will have to retake half my courses.

They list their accreditation on the site, so I think she's clear there.

I went there when I thought I wanted an Associate's in Accounting. I ended up deciding I wanted a Master's instead. The bookkeeping classes I took at Dekalb Tech, although none transferred credit-wise, were a great foundation for my Accounting. Also, I'm working as a bookkeeper, and wouldn't be doing that if it hadn't been for those classes.
