so. I'd like to surprise my boyfriend with a Nintendo Wii for Valentine's Day, but since it's been a month or two since I tried to hunt one down, I'm pretty out-of-the-loop regarding availability info.

what do you think are the chances of me getting my hands on one between now and Wednesday? are they still nowhere to be found? what time do stores usually get shipments in? am I more likely to find one at Target or at GameStop? ITP or OTP? is paying $500 on eBay really my only option?

if you could help me out with this, my sex life and I would be eternally grateful <3

hell no... please don't go and pay $500 on ebay! you can get them locally from private sellers for around $325. there are a ton of people on craigslist selling them right now.

A good boyfriend will satisfy you sexually on Valentine's Day even if you don't get him the Wii. Good luck finding one for him, though! :- )

I was at Toys R Us in North Pointe yesterday and they said they expect more Wii in on 2/11...i.e. Today.

Better hustle!

You and your sex life will be grateful?

Man, he must be TERRIBLE in the sack if you're giving him videogames so he can stay up all night doing that shit instead of getting his freak on.

Most Best Buys get them in on Sunday. They said you can call the night before to confirm and then show up about 6am and stand in line for when the store opens at 10am.

Our family has been waiting on one since Christmas with no luck, cause we do not want to stand in line at 6am for one.

arrrrrgh. I got an alert that the Edgewood Target had them in stock, was at the store in less than 15 minutes, and was told by five people that they absolutely did not get any in today. sigh...

The EB Games at Northpoint Mall might have them. I wandered through there the other day and saw boxes with price tags on the shelves. The boxes were probably empty, but I didn't see any "Out of Stock" tags on them, either.
