Asked Before And Got A Little Lucky...

I'm a local photographer in need of cheap colourful backdrops or very large pieces of fabric that can be used as such, typically 6'x10'. I've basically been using sheets but they have to be sewn together in order to be large enough for my use, which is a pain. If anyone knows of a place for decent backdrops or has any for sale I'd be very appreciative. Cheers.

Hey.
So, my boyfriend and I are looking for a new place. So far we've had really bad luck with pretty much every apartment building we've tried.
So I was wondering if anyone had any advice. We are on a budget of no more than 800,and we'd like to live somewhere like little five, inman park, grant park, east atlanta, candler park, virginia highlands or midtown.
Any suggestions would be very much so appreciated!

insurance

hello atliens. by the way, thank you for all of the lovely help on my last entry about apartments. you guys and gals are the best!

now my next question: INSURANCE (dun dun duuuuuuuuuuuun)

i am getting married soon, and thus i shall be dropped from my mom's insurance. my fiance doesn't have insurance (spare me the lectures por favor, i've already given him every single one known to man about it haha) basically i need health insurance come august. are there any insurance agents out there? or perhaps someone can give me a referral to one? this is what i need covered: general doctor's visits, specialists, prescriptions, vision, and dental. i basically need the whole shebang.

i previously had BCBS and they were lovely. But i'm also not rich, so i need something as affordable as possible, considering everything i need. help me please!!

thank you!
I love Atlanta

Mechanic recommendations

My car's out of warranty, so I'm done with going to the dealership. So, I'm looking for a good, reliable auto repair place/mechanic in the Emory/Druid Hills area. Right now I need my AC checked, but it'll be for all the standard maintenance stuff, too. It's a higher mileage car (80k+), so that's a consideration, too. Looking for someone you have personal experience using with good results. ETA: It's a 2001 Chevy Cavalier LS.

Thanks for the help!

mpi or empi-- they sell braces and things in orthopaedic offices

However, I can't seem to find any record of them locally online (within the first few dozen pages on google).

Anyone in the medical field have a url for the company and a local phone number?

Movers?

My boyfriend and I are moving out of our super-duper cramped 2 bedroom apt into a nice huge lots-of-house 3 bedroom house.  :D  I'm lazy and refuse to move my crap by myself again (I've done that way too many times the past few years), so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a mover?  Good experiences?  Bad?  People to stay the hell away from?

Thanks much!!

Downtown Tornado on YouTube

The security cams at a downtown architecture firm on Luckie Street, by the Tabernacle, has released video footage shot the night of March 14th. The tornado made a direct hit just about where the cameras are, as is apparent if you look next door at 123 Luckie lofts, which is even now missing almost all the windows on the side facing Luckie Street. (They're boarded up pending repair.)

Crrrrrrrrrrrrreeepy stuff, brings it all right back for me. Extra creepy is that the second clip with the outdoor furniture moving around looks a LOT like footage from Ghost Hunters :)

Sonny allows wine sales over internet!

In other news...

Our "esteemed" Governor actually signed a bill today that will allow wine sales over the internet into Georgia.

The jackass won't let us vote on Sunday sales, but he allows internet wine sales.. uhm...... okay.

It's a start, I guess.
