I'm going to make a return to downtown but I'm currently looking for an inexpensive one bedroom/studio apartment for myself in the l5p/edgewood/highlands...I know there are websites with posting but any of you that are in the know about some places that might not be advertised please respond..

For members . . . how busy is  the gym at night? I am normally a morning person, and I know the ebb and flow of exercisers is based around the availability of child care -- but what's it like at night? Are there any periods of less-than-frenetic activity? I am going  to have to get in some evening workouts this week.

Has anyone used the Dekalb Tire in Smyrna/Cobb? If so what was your experience like? Were the prices reasonable? Any information would be great!

I am going to get some work done there because the dealer is screwing me over constantly and I want an alternative. I plan to get some basic work done, nothing especially fancy.

Hi everyone!  I am a 26 year old female looking for an inexpensive place to live.  My budget (including utilities) is $500 (max of $600 for a place that has a pool/gym/).  I'm looking to move in with someone who has a room in an apartment/townhome/condo/house.  I work on Peachtree Dunwoody at the corner of Hammond (right across from the Concourse) and want something in any of the surrounding areas which would allow me to get to work relatively easily, preferably with no need to get on the highway.  Areas that I love are sandy springs, chastain park, buckhead/brookhaven, and anything around Perimeter mall. 

Or, if anyone has any suggestions for 1-bedroom or efficiency apartments/studios that will definitely work too! 

Please let me know if you have any suggestions or are looking for a roommate.

I'm easy to get along with, tidy, and considerate of other people's space/things.  I like pets but have none of my own.  Do not have any children.  I have my own reliable transportation.  Social when around people but I'm pretty quiet at home and keep to myself.  Easy going.  Will always pay rent on time.  Don't have much furniture but would be able to furnish my own room if needed.  I usually socialize away from the home but do enjoy a drink after work at home or on the weekends.  Herb friendly but if you aren't then that's ok too.

Lightning struck and blew a gutter off the side of our house.  It is now leaking badly.
We only need one 40' section replaced or a 12 foot section repaired.
In the month or so since this happened, the water coming down onto the deck/near a back door has cause bowing in the subflooring and doorjam. :(

If you have any experience with a company you would recommend, I welcome your input.

Does anyone know of any rugby clubs that meet in Gwinnett? I know there are a couple closer to Atlanta but I'm looking for one in Gwinnett. Hubby likes to play and hasn't found a club since we moved and I'm not so fond of the distance, especially with the price of gas.. Any help would be great!  

This Saturday night is "Rhythm & Booze," the monthly soul 45 night at El Myr Burrito Lounge in Atlanta. I'm excited to be on the turntables again; last year the St. Pat's weekend installment of "Rhythm & Booze" was a BLAST. I'm hoping the rain stays away and that happens again!

Has anyone seen the cheap plastic pools in stores yet? I tried Wal*Mart and Toys R Us (Alpharetta/Roswell). They both have a large assortment of inflatable pools but not the good old fashioned plastic ones. It's for my dog so inflatable in not an option nor is a trip to Lake Lanier every warm day.

I know this has been asked before but, what do you think the best place to get a tattoo is? My Mom and I both want one for my upcoming wedding and neither of us have had one before. I'm a huge germaphobe by the way which is why I don't want to go to just any random person.
