Creme de la Creme

Does anyone have any Creme de la Creme uniforms you'd like to sell or give away? My coworker has her 2 year old starting there next week and is looking for second hand uniforms, since she knows her little girl will outgrow the clothes so quickly. She hasn't been able to find any on Ebay.

Temp Agencies

Please tell me about which temp agencies you have worked for. I'm trying to find one that has good results, and doesn't make you feel inferior because you're unemployed.

I'm in Buckhead, so if you have any experiences with any in this area, that'd be great.

Thanks!

Just an FYI - American Express is moving to Sugarloaf Pkwy and is hiring for a BUNCH of positions. They can all be found on Craigslist.org. I found them in the admin/clerical section.

Looking for something to do this Saturday?

It is only a few more days until Mr. Friskett's Improv Comedy Troupe epic Groundhog Day show, where Mr. Friskett shall summon the shadow beings to forecast whether there shall be another 6 weeks of funny (we have mastered our lighting, so the good money is on "abso-punxsutawney-lutely"). The basics: Saturday at 7pm, doors open at 6:30pm (come early, the word is we're expecting a BIG crowd, as we maxed capacity last time).  Tickets are $8, or $5 with a Student ID.  It is at the famous Relapse Theater on the corner of 14th and Mecaslin.  All this info and much more is available at http://mrfriskett.googlepages.com If you were at Dragon Con this past Labor Day weekend, you might have seen their show The Monty Python Experience! Expect fresh faces and improv this Saturday!

(This message cross posted all over Atlanta-based communities. My apologies to those that see it in multiple. Moderators, delete this if it goes against established rules.)

I need help with some info

Here is the situation.

I live in Marietta (east cobb) in a 3 bedroom house. My rent is 1295 a month and I live here with my son.

Well I decided that I needed some help with the bills so I decided to rent out the spare bedroom. I rented it for 400 (less than 1/3rd) a month plus 1/3rd of the utilities. I rented it to a friend of a friend.

He moved in and we had a verbal agreement on the rent/bills. It was also my understanding that this would be a long-term thing (at least 6 or more mths).

Well he moved in in Dec. He asked me could he pay the Dec rent over time bc he had to buy Christmas stuff for his son. The beginning of Jan I gave him a rundown of all the bills: 550 for the month -- 400 of which was rent so you can see the bills weren't a lot of money.

At any rate, after asking for the bill money every week for the whole month, he finally left me 150 bucks.

I then went out of town to visit my family. On my way back Sunday, I got a text message from him saying that I was overcharging him and he didn't want to pay so he moved out.

I then told him that I was going to sue him in small claims court for what he owed.

My question is this -- since we had a verbal agreement and he moved out without notice, and didn't tell me until after the fact, can I sue him for the Feb rent too since it's too late for me to find another roommate? In Mississippi you can but I'm not sure about Georgia laws.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

Since there seems to be a trend of job-related posting going on right now, I figured I'd add to the mess...

Has anyone had a good experience with a headhunter? Specifically in the admin area? A journalist friend recommended the concept to me a few years back after I'd graduated college, but obviously they were journalism related. I'm not sure if they exist for "normal" jobs, but if they do, and there's a good one out there - I'd be much obliged if you'd share.

Thanks!
