Can anybody recommend a comic book shop? Preferably those that also sell collectible cards, like Magic.

The closer to Midtown, the better.

I'm a long time member of this community and wanted to spread the word to anyone in Atlanta or beyond that is or knows somebody who is a slob or weird collector or such. Here's what's up: For the second year, my company (located in beautiful downtown ATL) is running a contest on behalf of the Style Network's Clean House show called The Search for the Messiest Home in the country (http://www.stylesearchforthemessiesthome.com). The contest ends in 3 weeks and to date I have only 7 submissions. I know it'll pick up toward the end, but not dramatically. So what I'm saying is this - if you or anyone you know has a lot of clutter in your home (I'm looking at you rotzotheclown) you would have a very real shot at winning a $50,000 home makeover plus I believe another $10 grand in cash. Yes you'd have to agree to appear on a national television show when they do the makeover, but let's face it - it's basic cable so how many people are really gonna see it. The key is, there are very few entries to this contest EVER that have any sort of personality. It's all sob stories and I feel fairly certain that anybody that enters with even a drop of a sense of humor has a real shot at winning this.

Anyhow, just spreading the word. Pass it along if you can think of anyone who should enter.
I promise my next post here won't be a Nigerian bank fraud scam.

Major festivals lo leave Piedmont Park due to drought.

Man this sucks. I like going to Piedmont for Dogwood and Jazz fests. Good times to walk around, chill among people and soak in the atmosphere of the moment, y'know?
