Hello Atlanta Folk

My wife and I arrived here Labor Day weekend from Boston, and I’ve got a question for you folk. Specifically, a question about Red Ales and where I can find seasonal local brews of such.

In Boston, I was partial to Harpoon Hibernian Ale http://harpoonbrewery.com/index.cfm/page/Hibernian-Ale/pid/28514

Also there is Wachusett Quinn’s Ale

But finding Boston beer down here is not exactly easy (Sam Adams is no longer limited to Boston).

I’ve developed a taste for Sweet Water and Red Brick ales since my relocation, and I’m wondering if there are any local breweries that you would recommend for a nice Red Ale.

I'm finished trusting people--I'm going to buy some pepper spray to carry with me. A friend told me I could find it an an army/navy store, or at Bass Pro Shops. I generally strive to avoid a) the suburbs and b) Bass Pro Shops, so does anyone know someplace intown where I could find some? I'm in L5P area.

Why are the Falcons looking to talk to USC coach Pete Carroll for the head coaching job? Didn't we learn from dealing with the jacka$$ in my icon this is a bad idea? Being good in college doesn't necessarily mean being good in the NFL. Ask Steve Spurrier. Why are we always interested in getting people who don't have playoff / championship NFL experience for these positions? Doesn't anyone want to actually win in this town? Damn.
