Atlanta, Georgia

ICAN stands of International Cesarean Awareness Network.  There is a chapter that meets in Atlanta and, until recently, there has been a very active Yahoo mailing list.  The list has appealed primarily to women who are healing from c-sections both physically and emotionally and women who are planning a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean), however, there have also been terrific contributions from care providers (physicians, birth educators, midwives, and doulas) and from women who have not had a cesarean but have an interest in birth.  The group has also been a great resource for women who are facing a breech birth and would like to avoid a scheduled c-section.

I hope this kind of promotion is allowed.  I'm not a board owner or moderator, just someone who has benefited greatly from my association with ICAN and would like to spread the word.

can anybody give a recommendation on any community colleges in the area? My son lives in Norcross, and wants to knock out some basic courses at that level before he tackles college again.

Okay neither Lowes or Home Depot carries cork board.    Well Lowes did have this paper-thin rolled up cork for lining drawers but nothing thick.

Anyone know where to buy a sheet of cork?
