After the bubble...

I'm interested in finding a new job. I've been with my current employer for over five years and I'm ready to move on to new challenges. I currently work in a helpdesk environment and in addition to the obvious I do web development among other things.

So, are any of the big job sites worth using anymore (Monster.com, ect)? I not had much luck with them in the past and with the IT market as it is now I wonder if those sites are a waste of time. If not, where is the best place to begin searching?

Thanks!

Job Openings

The company I work for has openings for 2-3 'entry-level' Visual Basic programmers. Candidates should have a BA/BS in Computer Sci or equivalent work experience, 1-2 years experience with Visual Basic, T-SQL, ASP, and SQL Server. (Working knowledge of VB.NET, XML, and XSLT is a plus.)

(There is also an opening for a 'senior-level' programmer for an individual with more experience.)

Its a great job (application design & programming) working with an experienced team for a well-known Atlanta-based company which offers excellent benefits.

If you know anyone interested they can contact me at jagriesser@yahoo.com
