Sweet, bright-eyed, peek-a-boo

Support your area Thai businesses! :)

I just wanted to tell locals about a family-run Thai restaurant here in Fayetteville, "Tara Thai". The family that runs the place is very sweet, especially the head lady there. She went to Thailand last time my Mom and I were by the restaurant but we're hoping she made it back from her vacation before the tsunami hit. The restaurant hasn't been pulling in the business it needs to, and with their family in Thailand they probably are going to be having a rougher time of things even still. So I hope we can do something.

If you're in the south Atlanta area, this is the Thai restaurant in Fayetteville off of Georgia 85, towards Georgia 92 from Fayette Pavillion (in the shopping center where Kroger is). This is the best Thai place I've been to in Georgia and like I said before, it is run by the sweetest people.

free childbirth classes in Atlanta?

I was wondering if anyone has found any free childbirth preparation classes in Atlanta, GA? My insurance and hospital offer them ranging from $85-95 but I figured it couldn't hurt to see if there were any free ones offered. I'd love to hear about them if you know...

repost (final)

I figured I'd post this again, now that Christmas is over and stuff.

at the request of a couple of people in my last post, here's a list of all the books/CDs/DVDs (even a couple of VHS tapes) that I'm trying to sell. anyone who's interested, please comment with the items you'd like, preferred payment method and email address and we can make arrangements, or if you'd rather meet someplace instead of having me ship the items, we can discuss that too. and I'll strike out items as they become spoken for.

Mechanic

My Ford Explorer is revolting from the abuse of a long winter road-trip up North for the holidays. It's generally running like crap and making a knocking sound.

Anyone know of a good and trustworthy mechanic in the midtown area that has the tech/knowledge to figure out the problem and fix it? I got an offer to do a show in [info]huntsville on Wednesday and want to have it at least checked out by then.

WEEZER IS COMING TO MY BIRTHDAY PARTY AND SO IS JESUS

xpost

Tues Jan 4th - The Love Drunks at the 10 High with El Scorcho (Weezer Tribute Band) and The Outfit (Athens Rock Gods)

there will be cake, party favors, a costume contest, no host bar, and hot makeout action FOR EVERYONE.

We're a blues-punk band that sounds like Bessie Smith and Cab Calloway kicking the fucking shit out of John Spencer, The Von Bondies, The Cramps and your mother.
