Subject: Help the FVEAP (Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance Program)
I would like to stop you all in your tracks for a minute or two. The Feline
Veterinary Emergency Assistance Program (FVEAP) is in need of your assistance.
The FVEAP, run by Tim Meeker, is a tremendously valuable resource for all
of us. Since its inception in July 2002 - yes, not even two years ago -
the FVEAP has given assistance to over 262 cats in the amount of
approximately $50,000.
We have all seen postings about cats who need emergency surgery or cats who
need surgeries their owners cannot afford; well, the FVEAP is people call
upon to help such cats in need. For just a sample of the many, many cats
the FVEAP has helped, please go to
http://www.fveap.org.cnchost.com/sys-tm pl/casestories/
Many of these cats would otherwise have died if the FVEAP had not given
their very valuable assistance. The FVEAP now needs your help to replenish
its fund.
It is important to note that ALL of your donations go directly to the
animals. All the administrative and overhead costs are born entirely by
Tim and his wife as their own personal contribution to the organization.
Please donate generously to this organization. It is indeed a life-saver.
Without your generosity, the FVEAP cannot help the cats.
There are many ways to help the FVEAP:
* Checks and money orders to: FVEAP, 1282 Stabler Lane, Suite 630-117,
Yuba City, CA 95993
* PayPal (www.paypal.com) from checking account or credit card to:
fveap@earthlink.net.
* Have your company match your donation
* Make the FVEAP beneficiary of a life insurance policy
* Donate items to sell on ebay are also needed (mailable items in good
condition)
All donors will receive a tax-deductible donation receipt.
