Hey there~ I'm a newbie to this comm as of today~! ^__^ I recently finished a few projects I've been working on; a few EG&L-style headdresses. I'm nothing close to being a pro at sewing~ This is a new hobby that I only picked up late winter... However, now that I've gotten a few things finished, I'd love to have some outside opinions on what I've made.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is going to Momocon next week in Atlanta, and if theres any info on a lolita meet. I think missmeganmaude is having a panel and maybe a meet sometime before or after that, right? Please let me know if you have any info :]

Specifically, an 18+ meet-up for us "older" lolitas.

Where:It will be at Battle and Brew, a video gaming bar ( beer + video games, what could be better?)
When: The time will be 10pm, Thursday March 13th
What: Rock band! $9/hour, divided among whomever is there playing (you can also play the pc games or other games at your own cost)
Who: 18+ Lolitas, Dandys, Kodonas, and... well you get the idea!

Feel free to show up a little late, as I will probably be there all night (along with my bf, as he plans to be working that night) They are open till 2am.  Please see the website for directions! I will re-post this as the date nears. Hope to see you there!

For those lolita's who like J-Rock I am sure you have heard about the Taste of Chaos tour and that MUCC, D'espairsRays, The Underneath (formally known as transic nerve) are going to be at the show.  Now they are going to be at the Gwinnet center which I am going, but also going to Bilouxi, MS which I am also going to.  

And so I though maybe I could extend an invitation to my fellow J-Rock fans to come and join me.  The show is March 29 at the Coliseum in Gulfport, MS which is 5 hours away.  I was going to make it a weekend trip leaving Friday and coming back that Sunday.  

So its just an idea but I am just testing to see if any lolita and Mucc/D'ray fans are interested.  Plus being alone in a city with casino's is not the best thing for me as I REALLY like blackjack...I like it a bit too much.

I have reserved a room at Karaoke Melody for this Saturday, January 26, from 3-6 p.m. (it was going to be 2-5 until I found out they don't open until 3). Since it's early afternoon, the price will be $5 an hour per person plus extra if you want food or drinks. Here is a map for directions http://tinyurl.com/257hb9. I'm actually from a small town in Florida, (Melbourne, if you've heard of it) but I'm planning a road trip and Atlanta is one of the big places on my list. As a fellow loli, I was wondering if you knew of any good urban places to visit - especially to shop for anything Japanese - be it clothing, stationary, knickknacks, etc. (and it does not necessarily have to be Japanese; perhaps if you know of a few places that just sell wonderful things) Also, if you know of any nice urban cafes or coffee shops around town as well, I would be delighted to have the addresses or websites to such places. Thanks so much for your help! I might even be able to attend the international loli day! ^___^

Happy New Year! For our first meetup of the year (unless someone else plans something pretty quickly), I am going to reserve a room at Karaoke Melody on Saturday, January 26. The date is set and will not change, but I still have no idea what time to have it. We could do an afternoon or we could go into the midnight hours. Please give me some feedback on the time, especially if you would like to go but would not be able to if it were at a specific time. Whatever time we set, I figured about 3 hours, and if we want to stay longer, we'll just stay longer.

The price is $6 an hour per person. Food and drinks are available, but seriously pricey. Think of the food there as more snack food at meal prices, too.

Oh, and if you don't want to sing, we won't make you. I promise...

I had an idea for a little project of mine. I am thinking of eventually applying to fashion design school and i know they want a portfolio of my work etc. And i just love to sew anyways. ( ANYWHO... )
