For the dinner i might opt for the Fuji Fine Pix digital i have, 6.3 megapixels with video OOOOHHHH some of my Barry video is on YouTube but they blow it out so much it looks worse on that site.

for film shots i used to have a Minolta Maxxum 5 with 2 lenses, the 70 - 300 zoom (all the shots you see in my post are with that lens) and a 35 - 70mm or 28 - 80mm lens. the camera is cheap but great quality! i use fuji films only but in a pinch i will use walgreens film over kodak because i have had too many bad rolls with kodak films. i rented the same gear i used to have and get the same good quality pix. the last rolls i have going are long shots of the players at bat, not too many closeups :-/

	what cameras do you have? i love the 28 - 80mm, it's good up close. i spent 3 car payments on my 300 zoom before it was stolen. it was worth every penny!! i'm looking at getting the Nikon D20 or D50 kit. the dual lens kit is really a good deal, but i'd need to eventually get something like a 500mm zoom for great pix. 	my pops has that same digi, if he knew how to use it i am sure he would have great pics heh heh do you like your canon? i always found them to be too heavy for my sissy wrists and hands heh heh i am aiming for a Nikon...fingers crossed i'm getting Barry a Lomo Super Sampler to try out before the season. 	i like a substantial camera but not one that requires me to lift weights to gain strength to carry it around :P the lomos are crazy!! there is a fish eye camera that would be right up his alley :) (Reply to this)(Parent)

yer welcome!! he is a pretty one! i really want to shoot more dugout shots of him with dan, but i have to get the motivation to buy seats sooooooooooooooo far away from Buckley, and we do enjoy torturing each other so...i'll aim for the 29th to get closer :) maybe then he'll ask me for my camera :D

i'm trying to find my baseball shots of berry from 2 yrs ago, a little less focused/more artsy but he still looks pretty yumtastic.

	if you go down far enough in my posts you will see a MEGA long one that details my convos with Barry and Danny (my future ex) and Buckley, the object of my mind games (because he is a tard but we love each other, strangely enough!)...anyway Barry is a good conversationalist but he has opted to tease me and not say hi the last 2 games. oh boys (Reply to this)(Parent)

true Jay story: on Friday i sat next to this lovely lady and her son and she had care packages for the dugout: cookies, gum, stuff like that. as they were all noshing on her cookies, Witasick takes an entire roll of Bubble Gum tape, and unbeknownst to many, he shoves it in his huge mouth and chews away, disappears for a bit. he emerges to talk to a fan and she asks for a bit of his gum, she takes the bubble gum tape container and he tells her, "just keep it." she's all smiles and takes it only to screech late because he had stuffed the tape container with the PRE-CHEWED GUM!! it was all slimy and chewed. the next day he stuck the wad of gum up there when my friends told him that Duke actually brought them bottled water after Jay took FOREVER to get it and failed at such a simple task. he was protesting but we stayed :) and had a great time.

	Zito's like our lefty in Detroit, Nate Robertson, throws left, writes right. :P I heard a story on Zito though, he was a lefty when he was a kid, and a teacher made him write right handed; pretty much does everything right handed now except pitch. (Reply to this)(Thread)

I like Nate. Don't know a think about him but I saw him pitch and i liked how he moved on screen, ya feel me? nothing sexual, it just was like watching someone who knows how to do something and watching that person do it is pretty cool...i ramble...

my skool did that to my brother. he was a lefty and the teachers forced him to write righty and now he writes very slanted. :-/

	I get what you mean. I feel the same way about Justin Verlander. I like watching him pitch. He's kind of hurky-jerky, and all arms and legs, and it's fun to watch :P Yeah, my school tried to do that to me too. Except I wouldn't have it, and neither would my mom, who is also a proud lefty :P Considering her age, I'm surprised no one tried that on her either. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

me too, justin verlander is all evil to me but hot to watch pitch. i still love Dan Haren's slow mo-stretch/wind then the *BAM* strike. very hot very hot.

i LOVE me some noah lowry pitching action. and even jason schmitty-schmitt but am no way a giants fan. but i would tap mike matheny in a heartbeat. i digress...

my cousin is ambidexterous. it's WILD watching her switch in mid-sentence when writing.

	I got to see Verlander and Haren pitch against each other in person. They were tiny (we were sitting up high) but it was still an awesome experience, and I got to see two of my favorite AL pitchers. Too bad the pitchers' duel didn't quite pan out :P (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
