Rules of Conduct

1. Nothing off topic will be allowed here. Everything has to relate to atheism in some way and it needs to be addressed in the post made.

2. I am the moderator; I can and will delete anything at will.

3. If you don't like it, leave. I never advertised this community and never set my life's goal to make it the largest forum for atheist exchange of ideas.

4. No trolling here. *Example* coming in here for the sole purpose of pissing people off.

5. I will ban people for any number of reasons, if you think you were wrongfully banned have the decency to email me and not slam me in your livejournal to your friends who don't know what is going on.

6. No advertising other communities here, there are communities just for advertising new communities. This also applies to personal blogs and journals. If you have something you want to advertise please email me first.

7. Comments are not to be turned off for any reason. This is a community, if you don't want to see what people think about a topic why are you posting it to a community? We are here to share ideas, we are not always going to agree, deal with it.

8. Respect. (I shouldn't even have to explain what that means.)

9. If you are under the age of 18 and you want to post here please email me first. I'm tired of being blamed by parents that this community has turned their children into evil demons.

10. If any of this bothers you please see rule number 3.

11. Please do not come in here as a way to gather information about atheists. If you need to know what an atheist is please look it up.

This is a community for atheists. A place to exchange ideas, rant, share news stories and feel safe. If you are here and you are not an atheist grilling atheists for information for any reason will not be tolerated.

I can (and will) change the rules at any time. I will always announce when rules have been changed and it is your responsibility to read those rules when I change them.

Thanks, I hope the community continues to be a place where atheists can communicate.
