cata6: Why so serious?

Elokuvan loppupuolella Jokerin "Do you wanna know how I got my scars"-lause aiheutti jo samanlaisen irvistyksen ja hymähdyksen, kun Sweeneyn "How about a shave" ja Sin Cityn Marvin "Nice jacket".

Katottiin eilen kaikki kolme Pirates of the Caribbeania putkeen ja rakastuin elokuviin täysin. Kuinka joku on osannutkin editoida noin hyvin. Ihana.

tonakatonbone: Is Hip Hop Dead???

I think myself that hip hop is already dead for some reason because These reasons: 1. Because of the FUCKIN CRANK THAT SOULJA BOY SONG AND THE ASS HOLE HIMSELF
SOULJA BOY and what the fuck is with him and that diss between him and Ice-T. I'm actually taking Ice T's side because, Soulja boy really screwed up hip hop. SOULJA BOY IS A FUCKIN LOSER AND A WANNA BE Rapper who sings the shitty ass song the same fuckin time and kids are acting like him and he is a bad role model because, come on did you listen to the Lyrics in the Crank that Soulja Boy just listen to the song.
2. Many Rappers such as Lil Wayne and other rapper are becoming bad influences to youth by making them having sex, doing drugs such as "Syrup" or Purple Drink which is affecting the teen into doing drugs and other shit.
3. The lyrics in rap has become to graphic and too sexual and I think it should be lowered down and I wish the rap was back to normal not like some sexual bullshit that little kids are really listening too.

panda_luvs_pie: Transformers: Music Prompt

I wanted to try my hand at the transformers' music prompt that's been floating around. You put your MP3s on shuffle and are only permitted to write for the duration of the song and when another song starts you have to change the subject. I cheated, of course, because some of the songs were under two minutes and I'm no good at writing fast. So sue me. These are all Transformers: Animated, with spoilers up to the Season 2 finale. - - Requiem For A Scene By panda_luvs_pie Disclaimer: I do not own Transformers. Duh. Rating: PG Characters: Blackarachnia/Elita-1, Optimus Prime, Prowl, Sari, Ratchet, Starscream, Megatron, Blitzwing, Sentinel Prime, Ultra Magnus, mentions of Jazz Summary: Transformers music prompt. ( ::We've got stars directing our fate...:: )

yukari_rin: "Time waits for no man."

So I had a bunch of random memes to post and a lot to say about what I've been up to and how work's been going... But then I got lady_zip's PM about pococurante passing away and it all felt rather trivial. I shed a few tears, and rather than be more upset than the loss of such a strong and lovely young woman from this word and my circle of friends, I was upset that I didn't know her "well enough". Sure we'd been friends for a couple of years and read and commented on each other's posts, but not as often as we could have. Not as often as I always said I would. And I regret that. And then things snowballed for me, I guess you could say... Anyone who knows me, anyone who I've shared what I went through in high school with knows that I loath regretting things. I read all the posts I see on my flist, I do. But I usually say to myself, "oh, you'll comment on it later tonight or the next chance you get" but then I get distracted and time goes by and I figure my comments aren't really relevant anymore. But that's going to stop, because Kali's death hit me in that same spot Aunt Karen's death hit me, and I relearned a very important lesson. You're all on my flist and friends with me for a reason, and I don't ever want to forget that. I've been toying with doing a cleaning off of my f-list for months now, but now I'm unsure just how much cleaning I want to do, you know? I want to get to know all of you better if we're still on the fringes of friendship, and I want you to know how much I value having met you. So that's my promise to each and everyone one of you that's active - I will be a better friend. I want to know you, and I want you to know me. So here's a meme to foster this new take. Ask me a question about each any of the following:
1. friends 2. sex. (alternately, food!) 3. music. 4. drugs. 5. love. 6. livejournal. And then a meme from pureuda: Question Meme ❶ Leave me a comment saying anything random. ❷ I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. ❸ You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions. ❹ You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post. ❺ When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.( She asked me.... )

tyciol: Lolihumbufggfuooo mooolaaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee caffee

I dunno but you gotta have a subject'n stuff. [Unknown LJ tag]So what I stirred up this morn's but a cup but it's all and it's more than a drop so I don't really gotta make more right? It's more for when it's early that and for when tiredness's kickin' in which it shouldn't but in the morn. For after all this is relatively safe it's not as if I'm up high and liable to fall so I can get goin' on only water right? This way it'll not keep me up so much. Maybe it takes more hours fer me then I've supposed 'fore. Y'see also probably interferes with the melatonin I'm s'posed t'be takin' which is a good idea for sleep and stuff. It's certainly a more focused prioritization of treatment rather than skip to some kinda mugwort herb st wort or whatnot like before which did shit all but was preferable to some stupid antidepressant. Wish I never took that shit, so many fucks turn you down for testin jobs just because you took'm a couple years ago. Honesty certainly holds ya back from a lot'r stuff, eh well. HAGRID lol. So CCS is up to the new beginning and I'm freakin' out on YukiSaku and YukiLee and SakuLee and... you know the video camera girl... herSaku. Plus TohyaEveryone because is there ANYONE that sewing 'I'm a waiter everywhere in the city' gr 12 lad doesn't got chem with? So I got the 'cave back there because I just wasn't interested in its secrets. Only pg 50. I gotta admit, much as I've been purroussing the classics, the more modern stuff tends to hold my interest better. Media really does improve, it kind of makes it an effort to be a good fan sometimes. Having same problems with Trekkiness, on 309 there's all the movies and yet I haven't even watched em... like I saw all the TNG movs (including Generations) but when it is ONLY kirk... eugh. I need to keep reminding myself that there's Spock and that 1 or 2 had the pre-borg thing and since I love the Borg I need to watch it to get some perspective'n stuff. I realized I couldn't make my moon mutant into a magician right off the bat because the only way to get special training by a master is to be wild and I discovered a note on the species saying unlike other animals humans can't roll wild! So maybe Hominids can do it. Hominids got problems like copypasta from the interdimensional table, I pretty much just ignore that. It's actually not enticing at all, who the heck wants so many skill programs with no bonus? I'd rather have the best bonus and less programs thanks. I decided not to know anything about time machines and instead just made him a historian. It's just easier that way, less controversial'n shit. It gives me something to turn into an OCC later, get a couple technical programs, another technilanguage one (the GM can decide if he wants them the same bonus or diff, doesn't matter to me) and then another on something cool like phystrain or magi or somethin'. Although, I realized I could get megabonus rogue skills (beyond even stage actually) with journalism so I might make one journalism and then only get half of time travel and get the other half as a hardwhere. It makes sense because you can get temporal theory and shit from being a mage, but to learn actual mechanic or pilot skills it's better to save it for being a hardware vehicle dude. That way I can actually get the funding for it as well, roleplaying that. Hibernation's great (along with temporal magic, stasis powers, stone mastery) since you can jump back to the next twist with a machine and then pass the time without having to play it. You could even tie that in with being a sleeping immortal. After all, enlightened taoism's a lot of work with no clear starting point. Sleeping immortal fits better with 'impervious to sleep' because it lets you stay awake a long time so that you can be around as long as possible while you are awake. Then, it gives you a good reason not to be in a campaign too long (have to go back to sleep) and be continually gettin' more chi and bypassing general time problems. That's not even something EIs can do if I think about it, they have to roleplay living all those years in their various reincarnations, lololol. So there hasn't been any DB updates lately so Kaizoku delivered instead. Amazawesome. But anyway it is time for me to mail the package that's been sitting on top of the Batcave and then go get me my money for my stuff! Then I can do it again for more, and then I can go get stuff like ankle weights and footwheels and gyros and kettles and indians and so forth. You know, speaking of Inuit (I wasn't) it's cool to be half one because then you can always be an earth shaman doll dancer along with a polar bear dude and of course the crazy temporal mage types. The only thing is, learning temporal magic's not enough, because you need to be a warrior for the bonuses (no point beyond 1st lvl not like strength increases any more, and who wants to lose IQ?) and a wizard for the better casting rate and ability to save people from the Unholy and learn his ability at lvl 12. Fits well with Phase Mysticism. I like how some super psionic classes are OCCS rather than P/R. Like the gypsies in NGR/Russia. Speaking of which, I could keep the immortal awake using drugs! It's a fun excuse to hop your char up on drugs because they're obligated to spend decades recovered in rehab anyway so may's well. It kinda makes you wonder, if you're only sleeping... your clones could stay away right? Like you wake them up when you sleep... you can't wake them up WHILE asleep so may as well do it all at once. Then, they can basically stay awake just as long as you did so they could do some extra work. If there were some way to use the power while asleep then they would be refreshed each time you recreated em (which you'd want to do regularly anyway seeing as how you need to do it to keep them tip top and to gain their memories, like Naruto) then it'd be a way to remain active while asleep. If I think about it, it's real reminiscent of what Seph was doing. No, not Sephiria! lol. But really, that's rather clever, good going there plotter. It may not be 9x9 but that's not something easy to get anyway. Odds are if I did get that I'd be stuck as a tiger or whatever. It makes me wonder anyway, what happens to your clones if your own soul reincarnates. Do theirs? Do you get them back to full when you die yourself? In a way, there's a delay so if you think you're going to have to die somehow (like maybe you got megapoisoned, or PoP's time demon thing's after you) it's better to do it in the past so by the time you reincarnate and remember, you're in modern times again. Even so, it could just be a diff of roleplaying in AtB instead of TMNT until you come back. Dying in the astral plane might be doable as well... because since time passes at a rate of 1 week/hour or something, the time needed to become a teen and begin to gain back your abilities is really only... 52 hours a year is 2 days 4 hours a year. For 17 yrs (and 6 months to get refined back to a Yin Tiger) that'd be... 35 days 70 months, or... 2 hours short of 38 days in the astral plane... Although to be fair, I don't think the other immortals hang in the astral so more likely I'd only be able to stay there until 13yrs and then have to leave the place for them to be able to find me as I like. That's why even though the inner planes are safer and linked to all dimensions, it's best to have an outer domain as well simply to take advantage of time and stuff. Even so, I really must have a time machine and still make plans to seduce Simultaneous or something to learn Lordship. Maybe I'll just ask Romero or something, I'd have no ethical qualms about warming his mind. You know... I really don't even gotta be a Time Lord do I... I could just use Miclantecutli's command on Romero's skin... *cackle* I wonder if ol' Sandelheim would have mixed feelings about that. I gotta wonder... what'd be more evil, doing that, or doing Soul Harvesting? One is simpler since it doesn't need an OCC change (nor to be a non-psionic to do it) but at the same time, if the skin's destroyed you're screwed. Although, being screwed by an excorcism isn't much better. In any case best to be impervious to exorcisms and to make th flesh indestructible, but I'd rather avoid it all and just get the teaching. It'd be a good 'in' to gaining rank in the 79th as well. Until then I'd have to settle for the other null zones and they look nice and all (one of them even has a 'time passes faster' making it a nice alternate astral) and Romero'd be better as a minion than dead anyway. He's more than his stats definately, like how he animates a t-rex skel he's got necro written all over him. I bet he'd be real happy as a Wormwood general and stuff. Mon, Jul. 21st, 2008, 07:26 pm
la_belle_roo: The awesome lives on
Somebody made this, how awesome is that?I would so be a Captain Hammer fangirl... In non-Dr. Horrible news, I finally updated my resume and began looking for a new job. Scarik was sick today so I stayed home to take care of him and figured things like updating the resume and dusting off the accounts at monster.com and careerbuilder.com were good ideas. I feel like I'm in a rut, and I need to fix that. Is it sad that my friends and I are already quoting Dr. Horrible? ...I'm wicked boring.

ballades: re: Avatar finale

As they say on ohnotheydidnt, HATERS TO THE LEFT. There were unresolved plot points. There were plot holes, there were unnecessary things. But the beauty of Zuko and Azula's fight, Azula's rapid downward spiral, Aang's dilemma, TOPH'S IRON MAN SUIT, Iroh and Zuko reuniting, they were all perfect. There are more things but those are the ones that come to mind. The score was excellently done. The limitations of the Y7 rating, as well as the target demographic made it so that Avatar didn't quite have the punch I wanted at the end. My friends who watched it, as well as my fiancé agree that had it not been through the censors or was written for the Y7 crowd that more "bad things" would have happened, and we would have gotten a bittersweet ending instead of the saccharine stuff they gave us. That's understandable and forgivable. Killing Toph and crippling Sokka for life would have disturbed the kids. So I can look past all that. Thank you, Nickelodeon; thank you, Bryan and Mike. I look forward to the next installment! Sun, Jul. 20th, 2008, 01:06 pm

tyciol: Stein-sama

Stein-sama 'Doctor Stein' or whatever (I believe his first name is Franken of course) is definately freakin' cool. Introduced in the Soul Eater series episode 5, preluded to in episode 4. Seriously this guy kicks so much ass I don't even want to go into detail about it. Sufficed to say... well he's a doctor (/spoiler) which I love, and he wears the mad scientist lab coat... he's got glasses, used a computer, has the same kind of stooly computer chair I've used in the past... I like the way he attacks, I like the way he blocks attacks, I like his special moves (sparky), and it's cool what he did to that one teacher... Plus later on in the series when he teams up with another guy to face this one guy and then this lady... shiiiiit. Seriously I want to emulate this guy as much as I want to emulate Spirit and Death. These are all seriously fucking cool emulatable role model hero type guys. Anyway I need to go buy a video game or whatever my coffee will keep me awake. It's better having it earlier in the day, and to have it intermittantly so you're more aware. Yesterday I spilled everywhere because I was holding it one-handed constantly while relaxing watching a Tony Little vid and then I had a lot to clean up. It was a good excuse to switch to a new towel I think. I fucking hate how some places ban you just because you pwn their members at debate and aren't a suckup, bunch of fucking wusses who can't take people with faster-operating brains. I guess it's incomprehensible that some of us just naturally fucking make great points faster than they're able to comprehend said points. Sun, Jul. 20th, 2008, 12:00 am
miiko_ashida: New(ish) Gintama chapters: see icon.

So, uh. Kagura. Breaks out her buried Yato Crazy in one of the newer Gintama chapters. It was fucking epic. I screamed, I wept, I hid under my chair...and okay, maybe I fapped a little. But seriously, I have some awesome new respect for Sorachi-sensei. He scared me more with that one chapter than the better part of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni put together. Also I've been bitten by an insane Dark!Kagura plotbunny, somebody help me. ;__; (Both the people to whom I've showed this icon have been thoroughly freaked out by it, too. Success!)

sr_red13: cosplay woes

It has been so long since I last looked for cosplays. It's a hobby that no longer interests me very much. Actually, it brings the worst out of me. People have no respect for others when they make their stupid costumes, so much it's more of a pain to witness their atrocities than worthwhile. I was surprised to see nice Godot/Kaminogi cosplayers (I especially like Kaminogi, he fits the part really well, unlike... others who shouldn't be mentioned). Popularity has got to have its bright side afterall! Curiously, most of the cosplayers ones I like also cosplay Kamina, but they make dreadful Kaminas. I even felt like making a new costume. However, I was faced with a couple obstacles. First: cosplaying is expensive and time-consuming. MMORPGs are way better hobbies considering those aspects. Second: I would have to choose a character wisely, and I can't really think of any. I wouldn't do stuff like Asuma or Hughes again, since, despite my undying love for them, I can't fill those shoes. Third: I would have to go to conventions in order to wear it, and I would personally prefer never to set foot in one again. Still, I kind of miss cosplaying. If I could make a new costume, it would be... a male human rogue from World of Warcraft. In Tier-5 (Deathmantle), which is my favourite WoW set (except for the LOLhelmet). Too much of a hassle, though, WoW gear is too intricately detailed. I definitely would love to have Deathmantle Armour set in my closet though. Fri, Jul. 18th, 2008, 10:47 pm

sr_red13: blade of one-hundred deaths

Wednesday I ran Hyjal with my guild. Not all of us are T6-ready (for instance, I have 5 blue items, one of them being a level 68 quest reward), but we actually exceeded expectations. Rage Winterchill was rough. We did him in with 2 men standing, due to Icebolts. I was the last one to die because I managed to trinket twice through the fight. I think the others didn't equip their PvP trinkets. Then came Anetheron, which went as smoothly as a boss fight could possibly be: quick fight, no deaths. Later I found out it was due to him being bugged since 2.4.3 and not spawning adds. Whatever, since... ... ...I got a Blade of Infamy. Jesus christ. It's the sweetest thing ever. I have negative DKP after that one (well I already had negative DKP due to my Serpentshrine Shuriken), and I didn't really understand how I got it since there was a Fury Warrior who raided with for since, like, 50 times longer as me. But I have it and it's sweet. On a side note, WotLK beta is up and I'm currently being overwhelmed by information. Highlight: the Eastern Kingdoms loading screen has a male bearded human rogue (as if I weren't obsessed already? Special props for the monocle on the undead) and the Kalimdor one has an enormous male draenei (and the sexiest Night Elf female artwork ever). Conspiration much? Nice for me on the wait for Diablo 3 and those Barbarian oyaji. /masturbates Fri, Jul. 18th, 2008, 05:46 pm
