Craft Fair at Waltz-Astoria is a success!!

all of the vendors of the craft fair were concerned that the freezing cold and the snow were going to result in a craft fair with a low turn out.

BOY WERE WE WRONG!!!

we had an excellent turn out! lots of foot traffic and i think that the vendors had a great time selling their crafts.

all of the vendors had very beautiful and professional looking items.

bring along your latest project, or finished projects to show off. and of course, dont forget to try out some of the best coffees and teas in Astoria. a staple of fall and winter time here in the Ditmars area is Freeze Peach Hot Chocolate. yummmm. ask for a shot of peppermint and you've got mint hot chocolate. YUMMY!!!

ok! see you all tomorrow! i will be leaving early b/c i got a big deal exam on saturday, but you are all welcomed to close out the place like we always do on Thursday nights!!

sooo--- only a few more weeks until the Waltz Astoria Craft Fair! sunday, December 2, 2007 from 11am-5pm. Waltz is a great little cafe/ performance venue on Ditmars Blvd in Astoria. the craft fair will feature dozens of Astoria crafters selling all sorts of things from jewlry, to handknit items, to stationary, and more!

ACK will have its very own table featuring Kim, Marianne, and my creations.

so come check it out and support local crafters!

this craft fair is brought to you by Astoria Craft Collective (ACC). there will be dozens of handmade crafts all made by local ASTORIA crafters/artists/designers!!!
