 I almost forgot to take a picture today!! Haha oh man, can you imagine if I failed on my second to last day?! Anyway, Geoff got tickets for us to see Love on Sunday for our anniversary! We've been wanting to see it since it first opened, I am so excited! It will be awesome to have a wonderful date with my hubby & celebrate one year of marriage! |
 I didn't do much after work today (outside of stopping at the bank & getting a burrito to satisfy a craving - neither very photo-worthy!) so I just walked around the house until I found something I thought would be pretty to shoot! I only need to cough up enough inspiration for 2 more days & then this project is complete :O |
 Ali declared war on Geoff & I by hiding these Nicolas Cage faces all over our house (example: she stuck one over Geoff's face in one of our wedding pictures) so we gathered up a bunch of them to get her back. She must've found at least one because it was over the front door peephole when I got home today, haha. |

 The first batch of roma tomatoes (hence the oblong shape) are growing in, hooray! I've been really committed to watering all the new plants, I refuse to let them die like every other plant I've ever had! |
 Lovely Sunday with my love. We had a family brunch at my dad's, went to the new (& way nicer!!) library, and shopped at Old Navy & Whole Foods. Then he & Joe (Angie's husband) went and played golf. It was Geoff's first time, here he is mock-practicing in our backyard ;) |

 Geoff was off work today & we had the nicest afternoon/evening together! We went for a walk around our entire community & everyone's yards are looking so nice with so many blooming flowers (like this one). Then we had the most delicious & huge artichokes EVER for dinner, which makes summertime feel so much closer :D |
 We recently got our AeroGarden up & running again finally! We decided to do all basil this time, since it's always the hardest to find at the grocery store & we use it quite often. They're growing pretty fast! |
In case you missed the news!  These little shoes are Geoff's pride & joy, and also our first baby purchase! We saw them at Target shortly after we first learned we were expecting. Minus the skulls, they look just like Geoff's favorite Converse and he totally fell in love with them. I wasn't convinced they were unisex & we didn't buy them, but he couldn't get them off his mind! He'd even taken a picture at the store with his phone. We showed them to a couple people who helped in persuading me that a girl could wear them too, but couldn't find them again. Then recently, we decided to check again & there was one tiny pair hidden behind some other shoes. Meant to be! I can't believe we'll have a little one in 6 months whose tiny feet will be sporting these! :D |
 Amanda was in town this weekend! We sat out by Dad's pool today & Buca baby was being totally sweet & loving. |
 We have a princess in our midst! Hahahah. Ali has a job where she goes to children's parties dressed as various characters and on this day she was Sleeping Beauty :D |
 A huge group of us went out last night to dinner & then bowling! So much freaking fun (even though I bowled horribly as usual). Here's Angie ordering her hubby to hold her feet while we waited for the rest of the slowpokes to join us. |

 Geoff & I finally got our library cads and went to the one I used to go to all the time in high school. I felt so not-with-the-times when I was all thrown off by the self-checkouts they have now. You don't even have to scan your books, just set them down on this magic pad that immediately knows what they are. Crazy! Next up we'll try the brand new library on the other side of us. |
 The tiniest beginnings of a little lemon! Our lime tree is still completely barren though, which is bumming me out. Bloom already! |
 Geoff & I ate a new Italian restaurant last night that my dad is involved with. It was great and they had a little deli/store section where we found these Stella D'Oro cookies that we used to get all the time in California. We had to buy a box since we haven't come across them in years! |
