So needless to say, I've been slacking a bit in posting both here and over at Aaron-Ashmore.com. It's been the busy season over at my work and I've pretty much been getting my ass kicked by it since mid December. Thankfully, school started back up yesterday so hopefully people will gtfo of my business now.

So Voltage Pictures, has posted a more in depth summary of The Thaw on their website along with the first official trailer. To be honest, it doesn't look like the trailer is really completed since a few shots seem to still have the time coding along the bottom which is... odd to say the least.
Anyway I snagged the trailer and uploaded it to Aaron-Ashmore.com so you can download it if you wish, and I also uploaded it to YouTube for instant viewing pleasure.

I really am not entirely sure what to say here but I think my icon does a good job of it. Still no word on a release date.

Those rumours about an X-Men spin-off for the younger cast including SMore's Iceman and Stanford's Pyro?

Apparently true, as Variety officially announced that "Gossip Girl" scribe Josh Schwartz is working on the script: http://www.variety.com/VR1117996099.html

Amore and Smore attended the Screamfest Horror Film Festival's Opening Night Party Oct 10th:

If you've been wondering whether Smore fell off the face of the earth and landed on an elephant (or perhaps even on the giant turtle itself!), fear not, he is indeed alive and on our side of the disc.

As a matter of fact, photographic evidence was found - it is dated September 19th:

Even more evidence from the 17th can be found at the usual array of suspects.

this picture before? )

He looks pissed off. Possibly because of the table cloth shirt he's wearing.

From the post on PerezHilton about SMore's Canadian-flavo(u)red balls:

From the comments:

1. omg i can't believe that's the same guy who plays jimmy olsen on smallville. YUM! he almost looks like eric dane here.
2. man slut
3. what, his pubes haven't grown in yet, or did he have a brazilian bikini wax before this shoot????
4. loves Canada enough to wrap the flag around his cock
5. It's Aaron I think….I could be wrong???
6. OMG! I almost orgasmed just by looking at him! MERCI, CANADA! This makes me wonder what Aaron Stanford would look like with the American flag draped oh-so Superman-porno-star-eque around him…lol.

Aw.

That's for bringing the LOLLERSKATES, SMore. I've enjoyed the ride.

Kisses!

While I'm officially crazy busy and really shouldn't be scouting the web for Evol!Vines news, I sneak in the back door to share the love with you:

Just don't mention I ever was here to my time table. It gets jealous. You know how it is.

P.S. If someone could grab the Fearnet video and upload it someplace not discriminating the people, that would be just awesome.

It has seriously taken me way to long to get this entry started. It is almost midnight now... and I started working on things for [info]ashmorewank and Aaron-Ashmore.com at about 2:00 this afternoon. My attention span is shot since I'm currently on some pain stuff for getting my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday. Whoever said it doesn't hurt is a liar, for the record. Or maybe I'm weird. Like my tattoo was painless. Idk. Idk.
So trying to get back on track here.
Smallville aired a new episode, "Veritas" (which coincidentally was my High School's motto < / random >) on Thursday and it was brought to you by gasp The Ruins. Which was sort of great actually, even though the cast for The Ruins looked sort of annoyed whenever it cut to an interview clip with them. The video segments are somewhere on ONTD, and I will post a link later, but again not so much with the focused brain right now.
      So.
The Grand Slam Sci-Fi Summit is officially less then two weeks away. [info]loves_bitch and myself will both be in attendance, so we're now going to take the opportunity to ask our loving members of [info]ashmorewank if you have any questions you would like answered by Aaron. Seriously. Ask. We'll be at the Q&A and we want to know what you want answered. We'll be transcribing the whole panel as well as an A-A.com exclusive, so you'll be able to get your answers as soon as possible. So yeah, commenting. Fun for all.

This post is lacking just about anything remotely witty because most of my energy is being focused on my stupid stupid wisdom tooth. That being said I will now present you with a new old picture of Aaron and Shawn that I managed to randomly unearth today because I rule at the internets. Its from the 2006 Much Music Video Awards, and you can find an even bigger version of it over at Aaron-Ashmore.com, because I'm a shameless self promoter.

Also, Smallville returns tonight with a new episode.

I really don't get to post about Shawn that often so sadly this is sort of exciting for me to be honest. Anyways, so Rape!Vines / The Ruins is the cover story for the new issue of Fangoria which hits stands on March 25. Remember, boys and girls, this is a horror movie and the story is in a horror movie magazine... therefore it contains some graphic images and what have you. I mean the covers aren't always stand safe so people that have subscriptions? They get shipped to your house in little "body bags", srsly. Also, Fangoria is a bit notorious for being incredibly spoiler heavy. They'll ask questions like, "Oh was it filming your death scene?" and then you know include pictures of said death scene. Although really I mean I don't have much sympathy for "spoilers" when things are based on a book LIKE OMG DID U KNOW THAT SIRIUS DIES IN HP5 OMG OMG OMG~!!1!!!1 I'm a Hufflepuff by the way, for the record. Anyway, moving on... the cover is behind the cut.

Cake or death? )

Also, did you know that there is an Animorphs video game? Because there totally is. It's for the original Playstation and my cousin randomly found it at the Half Price Bookstore and bought it for me for two whole dollars. I might have to put this on for the amusement factor alone. Also, I still stand by my recent belief that Applegate was really just trying to turn the new generation into a bunch of furries. Seriously. Think about it.

I really need to go to work. Peace!

The Rules:

are beneath the cut... )

Okay, yeah.. So.. That's kind of it.

I probably could've said that a lot simpler with: pls2b respectful and coherent. But for some reason, that's just.. Not as fun.

So.

Once upon a time, there was [info]stanfordwank, and it was good. It led to [info]ashe_frost meeting [info]vehiclesshockme, which was also good... even though it included not sleeping, being attacked by ants and getting lost in Central Park. And then someone said to someone else... I forget who... something along the lines of "y iz there no ashmorewank bb?" and then it came to be... and it was also good! Or you know in theory.

So yes.

I should not be allowed to write introduction posts, like... ever. But you get the basics of it boys and girls. And now for some actual news.

The Ruins a.k.a. Rape!Vines! The!Movie is coming to a theatre near you on April 4. To be perfectly honest, all joking aside, I am beyond excited and very much looking forward to this movie. The author of the book - which is a great read, and I would strongly recommend to anyone - also wrote the screenplay. While early test screenings confirm that some characters, and what happens to them, are switched around (there is a reason we refer to this as Rape!Vines! The!Movie, boys and girls, even though the film supposedly does not contain the scenes that I'm talking about), everything I've read from early screenings is very positive. In addition to Shawn, the cast also includes Jena Malone and Joe Anderson (Across the Universe). Oh and some girl from MTV's Real Cancun movie or whatever you want to call that plays Eric's (Shawn's) girlfriend. Which, I will hold all comments until actual viewing. Also, for the record Cadet Kelly is love and I won't hear otherwise from anyone else, k?

You can see Aaron on Thursday nights on the CW on Smallville, playing Jimmy Olsen. Aaron will be in the latest episode airing next week, "Hero". Five more episodes of Smallville are currently being written, and production is set to resume sometime next month in Vancouver... so there will be an almost complete season. Aaron will also be attending the Grand Slam Sci-Fi Summit in Burbank next month, which will be his first convention appearance and more than likely will be interesting. I know I have my ticket. Anyone else? The Stone Angel is on the festival circuit, Privileged should be joining it this spring and The Christmas Cottage/Home For Christmas is releasing sometime in November, but hopefully not against Harry Potter because I mean... come on now, really?

This post doesn't make much sense and it isn't nearly as good as anything [info]ashe_frost would right but I blame that on a 60 hour work week and the fact that I've spent the last three and a half hours watching Celebreality. Flava Flaaaaav!

Peace.
