Ordered shoes and wig for Gino costume, which means once wig has been beaten into shape, all I need to do is make the vest and force myself into Claire's to get an earcuff. No last minute costume crap for me this year! I already have blonde extensions to use to make his rat tails. I also just need to play around the with the Bakura wig, it's already got the layers hacked into it, it just needs some styling.

In doll related news, I can't believe I just bought an SD16 girl body and that I will in fact be owning an actual SD16 girl. Boobies and linebacker shoulders, yay.

We're also having a cosplay contest at work as part of our big anime day and I am currently undecided as to which outfit to wear. I love getting paid to cosplay and sing karaoke, hehe. So far I am leaning towards Orochimaru since it is fairly comfortable and a lot of the anime newbs we have will recognize who it is.

tl;dr: Buses suck. I want to be able to drive.

Work has been great! So far, I think I've been doing okay and next week I'll be on my own. I get along well with all my coworkers, which is great. The patients are all lovely.

So far, the only crappy things about my job have been a few visitors being rude, and one of my coworkers today. We were collecting up the dinner dishes, she wanted me to collect them quicker, but some people were still eating. So she just took the dishes and their dinner away! WTF? You don't do that! I don't care if you want to go home early! Go home by yourself and let me clear them up. I'd rather do it on my own than work with someone so rude and inconsiderate to the patients. Luckily for her and me, most of them didn't mind so much and I apologised to them all.

I had a lovely conversation earlier with one of the elderly ladies on the ward. She kept asking me things like where are you from, what's your name, etc. No matter how many times I told her my name was Jenny, with two n's, she was convinced my name was Jelly. Then she decided to call me Jilly because it sounded nicer to her. Aww, bless. XD

What is with this drawing that made me double-take and make sure it's not what I see it is. Seriously brain, wtf.

I appreciate the fact that you want to meet up again. Really. But maybe I don't want to see EVERYONE again? Can you possibly imagine that my stay was not entire, sheer joy? I had some very unpleasant moments. So maybe I want to be selective about whom I want to see. 
Like a holiday fling, who NEVER bothered to return my calls/Xmas cards etc SUDDENLY gets dumped and thinks "oh yeah there was that girl in England she might still have the hots for me". I don't. All I have for you is a punch in your sunnyboy face.  And while I'm at it, I might hasten to add that I had "the hots for you" because you were the only decent merchandise. That's all.

Oh and "I'll be in London in 3 weeks, just come over". You surely like to jest. I know it's effing Europe, but we aren't just one huge village. I need to book a plane or at least a train to get there. Maybe you have the money to fly in from Brazil every year, that doesn't mean I can just pick some cash from my money tree. If I go to London I plan it thoroughly. And currently I have other issues, kthxbye.

This of course doesn't apply to you Lidi (I know you sometimes read this journal) I'd LOVE to see you again *____* You're still one of my best memories from that time in  England!



Talking about travelling:
I'll be away and internet-less until Sunday evening! (back in time for R2).

Hypersomnia has kicked in to massive levels now. Worst part is I can't say I really care. :|

My rats are so fucking adorable~. They're eyes are opened; they have fur; and they're still teeny. But they've been wandering away from the nest for a while, and they've been wrestling each other the past couple days. sdklfsd it's cute to watch. And Jacqueline doesn't bite me anymore. I'm not sure if it's from feeding her rice cereal or if because the babies are bigger, but sdfds I like it, and I don't really care what the cause is.

Also, we miscounted. There's actually eleven babies. Which means we have a runt. But he's cute, and if it really is a buck, I'm naming him Toulouse. ♥ And I will has pictures when I'm not lazy. Or tired.

I might have managed to convince her to keep them all. |D But. SPENCER. Find out if you can get a rat; I'll happily give you one.

Went with clearday_4ever to see Hellboy II last Friday. Although the first movie was okay, it didn't really strike me. The characters were all blah~ and characterization is 3/4 of what makes something awesome in my eyes. It doesn't matter how bad/cheesy/WRONG that remaining 1/4 (PLOT!) is, as long as I like the characters. Of whom none even slightly amused me. This time around, though... Heh.

PURGATORIUM (apurgatorium) IS HAVING A FOURTH WALL EVENT STARTING MIDNIGHT TONIGHT, FOR THE WHOLE WEEKEND (JULY 18TH-20TH).

I'll copy/paste from Tari's journal a description of just what it is:

"So, what's Fourth Wall Event? It basically means that anyone, and I do mean anyone, is allowed to come in and comment and interact with the characters in Purgatorium. You can use your personal journals, make a LOLCAT journal and talk to people, make a mecha journal, anything, anything~

The event begins at midnight EST, on the 18th. That's noon, 19th for the GMT +8 people. It ends at midnight EST, 20th. Noon, 21st GMT +8.

We have a huge Gundam 00 cast, Code Geass cast, Death Note, Final Fantasy VII, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Kingdom Hearts, you name it, we probably got it."

To add to that, you can bring in any roleplay journals you have, no matter what community they're on, or even if they're not on any community.
