Last year, a "Ceast & Desist Letter" was sent to Animesuki asking them to remove Suzuka. Finally, they've released an official announcement.
It's about time Suzuka gets more attention. Yay for FUNimation. I wonder will they cut all the bathroom scenes, lol.

| I have just noticed that animesuki had removed Suzuka off their database. FUNimation had sent them a "Ceast & Desist letter" announcing their licensing of the anime recently.
What would you people think? I couldn't confirm whether it was licensed or not, as there weren't any official sources or announcements. But if this were true, then won't that be nice? At least Suzuka is going to be getting more fans. =D
So, as the mod of this community, I hereby announce: from now onwards, if anyone wants to share any mangas or anime episodes, feel free to do so, but please put the post for friends only view, which means only for circulation within the community. However, this rule is subject to change.

| Now that the first volume of the manga is out in English are there any comments?

| The community seems inactive since the last episode of Suzuka were subbed... but anyways... I come bearing my latest AMV... it's Suzuka using a famous Chinese song. This time I uploaded them to easy-sharing, and it should be there longer, for about a month. I've consider this my best AMV so far, since I've used scenes where there is no ugly subtitles, and I somehow avoided the ugly DivX logo. =P

| Somehow, I think I'm silly discussing this here, but oh well..
Both Suzuka 25 and 26 were already aired in Japan.. but the subs were not yet out. I went surfing Lunar's forum, and found nothing about the two episode yet. Maybe we should just wait, as there's nothing that can be done. You might even get banned for asking a silly question in the forums.
But hey, I also heard this in the forums, that there might be a second season for Suzuka, as it's possible to continue on from episode 26. As far as I know, Suzuka's mangas were now somewhere in chapter 79 (correct me if I'm wrong, as I do not read the mangas, nor take note of their releases), and there are much more story behind them. But I'm not sure about it myself, as I found no official source of the news..

| | Hey all. I'm a new fan of the series and I was really happy find an LJ community for this series.
I work in Japan as an English teacher and "Suzuka" is a series that caught my eye at the manga shops a few weeks ago. I finally decided to give the series a shot and picked up the first volume Saturday. I really liked what I read and saw an ad for the anime on the dustjacket of volume 1. So far I've seen up to episode #14 and I can't wait to watch more.
Of course, I'm looking forward to the English release of the series as well. I can read Japanese reasonably well but it does take extra time. I'll be picking up the rest of the manga sometime soon.

| Yeah. It's the first time that Lunar has not release Suzuka's subs on time. It's almost Tuesday in my side here!
Oh well. They must be somehow busy. >_>;;
Okay, I heard that there's a new ending theme for Suzuka, "Kimi no koto", also by COACH☆ (and accordingly, COACH☆ consists of the voice actors of Honoka, Miho, Megumi, and another two).
