Albus Severus and the Pyramids of Furmat

More of a drabble than anything else, I just felt like writing something that ships Harry/Luna that IS part of the story.

( Chapter 9.5: Something from Snape's Side of the Story )

Yup, chapter nine is here, and it brings a certain hero to Hogwarts as a guest. With a new spell to be learned, and new friends to be made, this chapter is a great follow-up to the previous chapter, which some people (including me) proclaimed as my best.

In the newest chapter, we take a very Stephenie Meyer-esque look at the romantic relationship between Albus and Polly. Polly, in this chapter, reminds one of a likeable mix of Ginny Weasley, Lavender Brown, Bella Cullen, and Hermione. I guess this means I'm back!

( Chapter Eight: A Very Passionate Time in Study Hall )

Expect it to be released really soon. In what may be the most romantic chapter yet, Polly and Albus are officially an item, and Polly is reminding me more and more of a likeable combination of Ginny and Lavender. This chapter finally takes us to Wigglesworth's office, and we definitely see a friendship between James and Scorpius emerging.

I'm taking a LOOOOOONNNNGGG break from AS and the POF, since I'm going to camp for 4 weeks, and I'm out of ideas.
I'm not abandoning the project, it's just that I haven't got any inspiration to write. Instead, I'll write some drabbles and start a project unrelated to HP: Ernie the World's Greatest Milkman.

Sorry I haven't been here in a while! I'm really busy with other things so I haven't had time to write. I've written a fourth of chapter 7. Here's a preview of the next chapter!

( A New Severus Snape Returns to Hogwarts: a preview )

I just started. Just so you know, Snape didn't die in Book 7. He was merely bitten so hard that he fell unconscious. Voldy's snake isn't poisonous, you know.

I really need some ideas and some time to think. Right now this is what i got:
• The first class with Wigglesworth, which will have many Beowulf references
• The Pyramids of Furmat
• Scorpius learns why he was put into Gryffindor (hint: something about him reminds me of Fred and George)
• Tynker drills a hole through the Gryffindor common room floor just to give Albus some news
• House-Elves + Celandine + an oven = some Sweeney Todd-esque hijinks
• Shadow Yew wands: can they actually give the user a boost of bravery?
• the Halloween Ball: the next generation of the Yule Ball
• and a whole lot more!

At long last it's ready! Enjoy, and feel free to suggest ideas! I put a hint of Mrs. Lovett into Celandine, and Wigglesworth is just as I hoped! I hope this will be a well-recieved chapter and maybe, just maybe, I'll be persuaded to write more! (Of course I will, it's just that in between homework and school play rehearsals, I have very little time to write!

The Pyramids of Furmat lie a few miles east of the famous Forest of Shadows, not far from the magnificent Pillar of Storgé. To view these ancient monuments, the seeker of the pyramids must come at night, when they are illuminated by the Green Flame Torch. Nearby is the Mystic Kettle of Nackledirk, which holds the mighty Toenail of Icklibogg. The Graveyard of Memories is also nearby, and buried underneath its hallowed ground is the awesome Pureblood Trophy.

yawn....Not much. My newest character, Prof. Thaddeus T. Wigglesworth, will be based off an Egyptian entertainer who visited my school this year. He plays the buzuk (how do you spell it?) and he is very much like Lupin! He also teaches Ancient Wizarding Ritual Studies, and is a resource for all things Pyramids of Furmat, Pillar of Storge, Mystic Kettle of Nackledirk, Toenail of Icklibogg, Green Flame Torch, Graveyard of Memories, and Pure-Blood Trophy. (Those titles ring a bell? They were all fake titles for HBP and DH!)

I'm taking a couple days off from writing Pyramids of Furmat. I wrote two chapters in two hours yesterday, so I need a break. If you have any ideas, suggestions, praise, or criticism (no negativity please, I'm an overly optimistic homo) post here!

Whaddaya know, It's here! This is by far my favorite chapter! It proves that ASP/PB is the way to go in my story! Other highlights: Scorpius swears, and Neville loses his temper!

This once rather rare plant was discovered in Assyria by Miles Mimbleton in 1820.
Known as the Assyrian Spewing Cactus in some parts of the world, it is a cross between the common cactus and another Mimbleton species, the incredibly powerful Shadow Yew.
It is a common house plant nowadays, especially in the London area.
It has a rating of XX because its stinksap is rather revolting.
