I love having a laptop. I’ve spent (another) lazy day just lying in bed writing fic. I have been on such a roll with my SPN fic and finally managed to finish my Dean/Impala ones. I don’t necessarily ship Dean/Impala but I just felt this rush at the prospect of writing a fic. And it’s finally finished! *geeks out* Stacey, I have so totally got to send this to you!

The comfort of having a routine

it was back to work yesterday, back to my normal weekly routine. for me, having a set routine has always been comforting to me. having a routine also ensures that i will not only have sufficient time to devote to serving Sir, but to also have plenty of time to nurture myself: yoga, going to the gym or taking a walk, reading, and my weekly "spa" night (at home). all these things help me to maintain my focus on the things that are important to Sir and to me, and to remain graceful under pressure (most of the time). while Sir determines a large part of my routine, there are also items that are out of his control - namely my family obligations (assisting in my mother's care) and work. even though other people direct these areas of my life i try to keep in mind that my behavior in each of these situations is still a direct reflection on Sir, and nothing makes me happier than knowing He is pleased with me.
i am on duty at my mother's tonight and am missing Sir. i would love to be simply curled up at his feet while he watches TV or plays online poker. i have spent many a night at his feet and often fall asleep in this position.

ok, this could be good... but feels weird!
So, i normally do alot of my banking on-line or via check or credit card... only actually go to the bank twice a month for depostis via the drive threw...
NOW, i don't know if this is becouse i have been going there so long? or becouse she took more notice to me after i was in the paper... BUT...
I get to the bank with my child support and re-imbersment for fireworks... and Lane one is for small bussinesses, lane two is full, lane three is closed and lane four only has one car... SO i pull in to lane four. Within a couple minutes i pul up... and as the cashier working with the small bussinesses deposties hears the ding, she leans over (per customer service protocal) to greet the customer and says "Hello Jamie, how are you today?"
"I'm doing good, thank you."
*blink blink... Dude, she saw my truck and knew my name! I did not even have the tube thingy in my hand yet! Weird... cool, but weird!
But then, there is a Christian publishing house in town... Tate... Obviously i do not work with them as well, i am not Christian AND... my stuff is kinda juicy :D Yet thier employees hit the drive threw at work and make small talk with me. I mean, yah, i have a name badge on and have been there a while, but sheesh... it is not fair! I don't know thier names! LOL |
