AboutArtists_Promote is a community for sharing professional-quality artists and art sites.
Please-
* Post artists that inspire you and that you learn from.
* Post artists from various genres and art styles. Illustration, photography, fine arts, etc, are all welcome and encouraged.
* Post artists who work with a wide range of subject matter and who display a solid knowledge of the elements and principles of design.
* Put the artist's name in the subject line and the tags line so it will be easy to find artists by name in the future and to help avoid needless repeats.
* Include a brief description of the artist's work and a little bit about why you have featured him/her.
* Post new artists often, this is a community for sharing good art!
* Comment on posts if you enjoy the art, or if you don't, but in all cases please keep things civil!
Please Don't-
* Use this community to promote yourself!
* Limit yourself to posting artists strictly within a fandom, or, just as importantly, artists who limit themselves to art that is strictly within a fandom. =)
In general, featured artists should-
* Display a wide range of ability and subject matter.
* Understand and employ good compositions in their work.
* Understand and use the Elements and Principles of design. This page has fairly extensive discussion about these.
* Work as an artist professionally, or at least be to the quality of a professional artist.
In general, if you have a question about whether an artist is of a quality suitable for this community, please feel free to email me and ask! My address is nevar@nevarraven.com.
As administrator of this community, I reserve the right to remove posts at my discretion, though I will contact the original poster so he or she understands why the post was removed. I also reserve the right to modify or add rules as I deem necessary.
