About:This is a _names community dedicated to all the artists out there, meaning that you can claim any artist your heart desires, just as long as someone else hasn't staked their claim first.

Choices are open to visual artists - ones who put put pen to paper (comics, animation, etc), draw, photograph, sculpt, create with their hands, paint, and all that jazz. Have fun! Just remember to give the rules a once over so nobody's stepping on anyone else's toes.

[NOTE: THIS COMMUNITY IS NOT FOR MUSICIANS. There seems to be problems with people not reading these rules. If you want to claim a musician, you're going to have to make one hell of a case for it and back it up with proof of sustained work in the visual arts. THERE ARE OTHER COMMUNITIES OUT THERE FOR MUSICIAN CLAIMS.]

  • One claim per person. Unless you earn others through contests, helping out, or being a mod.
  • First twenty members get two claims.
  • Read the Claims List before making your claim.
  • Post your claim in the journal, not in comments; be sure to include what type of art and/or genre they work in. Please include one work of art made by them so I don't have to go looking for it x.@
  • Respect others. No, seriously. Flaming, gratuitous profanity, and discrimination will not be tolerated. Be warned, however, that this community may contain "adult" themes due to the freedom of expression of artists, but NO hentai or pornography.
  • All disrespectful users can, and will, be banned.
