    First post.
Figured I'd open up with something slightly dated(Since my scanner isn't working atm).

She's one of my stock DnD characters, sitting around level 12. Hopefully the link will work. Just a lizardfolk Fighter. For once I paid especial attention to her weapon/shield, one thing I typically neglect when doing character art. I liked the idea of an oldish crone who was a glorious warlord in her day but is slowly heading for death(Old warriors, ftw!). So she's got some tattoos, scars and gouges and breaks. (Just ignore the stats on the page, those are inclusive of a few magical item stat boosts)

The only thing I'm dissapointed with is the full-figure, which I could flesh out and make it slightly less boring, but the feet look a little weird.

I want to see more activity on here! Please feel free to post any art of your characters on here, or if you are looking for someone to draw your character feel free to post up here and ask. Artist for Hire posts are good too. Anyway lets see things get going here again. I look forward to seeing more awesome character art here soon

    Artist At Large..
Someone told me I should post my skillz on here, so I am! Hehe.

I know I could satisfy a lot of people's cravings for personalized art (badges, profile/Ref. sheets, and etc.) Therefore, I'm opening up "actual" commission slots. But this time $$$! I won't be charging that much, because I'll let the consumer choose how much to pay, but I will have limits.

    Such as.

Nothing lower than $5 for smaller pictures, such as chibis and other miniature ideas.
Nothing lower than $10 for a full size critter.

But I will set combo deals... Such as 2 Full Sized Pictures for $15!

Also, if you wished it to be inked, add $2
    Colored and Inked? Add $4

If your interested in any of these deals or would like to talk about comboing up. Which saves Ca-ching! =D Please email me at lovethatsamurai (at) gmail.com Subject: Crazy Panda (so I know to rush to your email!)

Nothing big, no more than two characters, but... yeah. Commission me? Keep my mind off things...

Attention artist out there who draw Humans well.
I want to get my best friend [info]dreamgirlz out there some art work for her birthday, and my perfered artist [info]just_blue said she might not be able to do a commision for me. I am looking for sommeone who does character concepts really well and I would perfer digtal art so I can get a really high res print of to frame for her, that way it saves on shipping. I am looking to spend around 25-30 dollars. I can provide a description of her, and pay 10 dollars now, and then when I get the commion, the rest of the price, or how ever the artist would like to do it.

    Thanks in advance.

I can't make my rent or car payment this month-- let alone the smaller bills of less consequence.
Therefore, please, by all means, do me a huge, huge favor and commission me for art?

    Again, art is here:

    Star Wars D20 Character
I am currently playing in a really awesome Star Wars D20 campaign where I am playing a Kushiban. For those of you not familar with the Star Wars universe, Kushiban are small creatures that look like rabbits with long tails and prehensile back feet. They are sentient creatures, and their fur changes color according to her mood
    Platnium, my Kushiban character )
Funnily enough, Platnium has become the first Kushiban jedi due to an incedient that consquently resulted in her and my mate's character being possesed by an evil ancient sith Lord. We were hence mindlinked by the encounter, and now we have to work towards training as good jedi, less we loose ourselves to the dark side and our character to the DM to RP as the new incrantion of the evil sith Lord. Lucky for us Yoda was stowed away in our ship, and apparently had known this would happen, (even though the DM did not) and now has offered to train us in the way of the jedi.
I have had a lot of fun playing a non-traditional, small, non-human character.

Here's another commission for Natisha... her redcap, fullbody. It's a work in progress, and the scanner ate her feet. Whee.

She's FUN. I like this one very much.

Commissioned Sidhe RP picture for [info]dyrecorn. The scanner made the colors come out really wonky. -_- AND it scanned a bit crooked. Pissed me off a bit. Ah, well.

    La la. ART!

Another Crystle commission. Same character as the headshot from before. This is her piskie who wears all black and paints her face... and is all acrobatic, and stuff. Yep. Liked this one. The paper was so big, though, that the dinkycrap scanner ate parts of her at Kinkos. Blah. Going to put it behind a cut because it's enormaloid.

    HAPPY FUN ART.
This is Crystle's Piskie character from Changeling: The Dreaming, a WoD game.... one of the headshots I did for only $10. Jump on in and get your character drawn, if you'd like! Whee.

I do hope I got her right... all that paint was a challenge!

    A Question?
Would anyone here mind if I made LJ icons from their artwork? I would repost them back here and give credit.

    Thanks for the help!

    My new Shadowrun character
I started another Shadow run campaign and this time I played a Sea EcoMage Hippie Indian (from India) girl named Merana. Shadowrun is really complicated so in order to keep up with all my fetishes I have to draw my character and make notes of all the various spells I use them with.
I have been drawing the managa style a lot lately with my humans:

I have art from the day before, so... yeah!

Eto from Deviant Art's Troll. Never drew anyone sleeping (from above, anyway) before. I think I did okay. And yes, yes that IS a Brody doll. Har.

Here's my mask-wearing, doll-making Nocker Keratin Jane again, this time colored... a background will come soon.

    Artsy peoples look here. (x-posted)
    So, I've an idea.

I've got a character in my head that I'm working on at the moment. She's another Changeling: the Dreaming Nocker, but I think she MIGHT be universally attractive to other people.

What I'm asking for is for people to design her for me. Take a spin off of what I have in my head and give me your impression. (I already have things sketched out for her that I'm happy with, but I would LOVE to see what you wonderfully talented people could come up with.)

If I do get any sketches/character models/clothing designs (it doesn't have to be a full picture! WOO), then I'll look 'em over and for the ones I really, really like, I'll do a full-color rendition of one of your own characters for you in return! For those that I think are still awesome for effort or whatever, I'll do a head sketch for you. Sound fair?

(And Lady_dragona... der, I know. You're getting something, anyway, so shush.)

    ------
Here's her description (I'll be using doll pictures for a reason that's obvious later):

Hair: white, long and wavy, down to her elbows. Resembles this: http://www.rwor.net/dreamsinplastic/balljoint/n002.asp
Eyes: so pale blue as to be almost white
Skin: What little that shoes is porcelain pale
Body type: Thin and willowy, seemingly tall though she's only 5'5".
    Name: Keratin Jane

    Background:

Jane began training as an assassin at age 14. Not long after, while learning the art of handmade exposives, Jane blew away most of her face (and probably much of her body, but no one knows how much, and she keeps that a secret). Jane took that as an ominous omen, and after the outer scars healed, she left that lifestyle behind quickly.

Joining the sidhe house of Eiluned, she created a set of porcelain masks for herself and clothing to hide the scars, and now is a doll and marionnette maker... with a twist. Her ball-joint dolls can sometimes be infused with momentary life, proving to be great objects of terror or interrogation (of the room-bugging type). She gathers info for Eiluned, and has an extremely uncanny way of knowing what others are thinking & feeling by looking at them. (Not a mind-reader, of course, but just very observant). People are afraid of her-- she's very, very strange, doll-like, herself, speaking softly and moving with willowy, fluid motions with spiderlike fingers and odd tilts of her head.

Her knowledge of the fae court politics is immense, and she uses it to her best advantage. She's also sometimes used as an interrogator herself.

She's lonely, but still dislikes most fae and people, so she creates her dolls and has become very, very good at her craft. She's got one doll infused with what seems to be permanent life... until it's broken, of course... a sort of golem which can speak, laugh, cry, etc...

Clothing style Jane prefers white, though she's been known to add very light pastel touches here and there. Her clothing is a mix of a little bit of lace, buckles, leather, satin, and silk. Almost none of her skin shows, except for her ears and hands, and it's been rumored that one of the latter is a construct, but no one is certain. Her nails are black. Her left long, pointed ear has a silver cap, made to hide the fact that the tip is actually gone.

Her clothes are a mix of Victorian, Renaissance, and Gothic Lolita.

The mask might or might not have patterns of swirls upon it... depends on which one, which day. Sometimes, on special occasions, she wears a silver one. OoOoh.

    ----

So, if any of this strikes you, let me know! And for those of you who need a deadline... how about the last day of July?

I hope to hear from you guys soon!

    much love.
