AboutHi, I thought it was about time LJ had a Community for Arthritis sufferers to swop ideas on pain management, treatment or somewhere to chat when you cant sleep because of it.
This was an open community but the ever increasing amount of spam on LJ has forced me to put membership on a moderated status.
If you are someone who has one of the many (about 170) forms of arthritis or are a relative of an arthritis sufferer who wishes to join the community, please send me an introductory e-mail (forest AT livejournal DOT com) and I will get back to you.

There are not many rules that I enforce in this community but constant posting of copyrighted articles found elsewhere online will get you banned automatically. If you want to post articles found elswhere , the best idea is to copy the first few lines and then drop in a link to the article itself.
