This community is for artists to showcase any work that is currently for sale and for prospective buyers of artwork.
If you wish to submit work you will first need to be a member of this community and any work that you submit should legally be yours to sell.
Banner adverts for goods and services are not permitted (please see the live journal 'Terms of Service')
You should not advertise any prices for artworks that you submit in 'artforsale', however, you may discuss information like dimensions or detail.
If you are interested in purchasing an item of artwork, you should contact the seller directly and discuss this. 'artforsale' is not responsible in any way for the sale process, however if you find that a seller is untrustworthy or depceptive please inform us and we will investigate and take any action within our power.
Any terms of sale should be agreed between the buyer and seller, again 'artforsale' has no responsibility here.
'artforsale' accept that the very definition of 'what is art' is an ambiguous one so we welcome all genre's and work in all mediums. We do not wish to be too prescriptive in regard to rules and what is or is not acceptable, but if we feel that something crosses the line (i.e. illegal material) it will be removed.
To keep 'artforsale' as accessable to all as possible we ask that any work that could be considered 'adult' is placed behind an LJCut which clearly states that the content may be considered adult.
If you are selling a number of works please condider giving a description and linking to a page containing those works, or use the LJCut - at this stage there are no limits and we do not want to have to impose any - please use your common sense.
