square pegs
i've seen a few people plotting out their goals on big paper and canvas and filling them in with multiple works. i took a cue from that idea and thought i'd tinker with little 1-inch squares.

just doodling with a sharpie.

haha that's fun!

I'm consdering doing the opposite: taking the scanned works and dropping them into a banner that's 5000 blocks big. So you could see rougly what was worked on and the rate.

maybe tonight if my lame friends dont come running to the "beer" call I sent out!

Ohhhh! I just LOVE these! I love the uniformity of the shapes, but the fact that each is different from the other...like people. This is a great idea! Keep up the good work.

I'm in love with this idea. I may do something similar but I'd probably use colors.

Right now, I'm in polymer clay heaven :)

i'm working on some colored squares too, with sharpies and colored pencils. i'm also gonna do some on shriny dinks and try to make earrings out of 'em. lol

i recently played with polymer clay for the first time, and it was a blast. i made a little figure of frida kahlo skeleton with a snake around her neck. it looked pretty good for a first-timer... until i painted it and ruined it! darn tiny things!

I read some instructions wrong last night and painted my clay BEFORE I fired it... ugh.. nasty smelling melting polymer clay... ew.

:) So far, I've found myself addicted to making teeny little acorn beads. :p and monet beads that I learned about on DIY Jewelry Making.
