Welcome to all artists and people concerned about art thieves!
We have organized this community to keep each other aware of illegal usage of our artwork.
As an artist, you may have already have gotten 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 emails about sigs, siggies, tags, signatures tag, tubes, PSP tubes, etc. Just know that no matter if you tell them yes or no, you may be able to find TONS of your art used for tags/tubes on the internet ~ with some actually being sold. Often the tagger/tuber will state that credit needs to be given to them, completely ignoring the artist's rights!
People should be aware that what they find on the internet DOES NOT belong to just anyone. We have made it our duty, as artists and copyright holders, to apply our rights when necessary.
People are welcome to post links of websites who are using our art WITHOUT artist's permission.
(Please Note, this community has *nothing* against taggers/tubers who HAVE the artist's permission!)
Our Mission
We take it as our duty to notify the artist whose works are being violated or used illegally.
Please post the information here, contact the artist, and then LET THE ARTIST DECIDE how to handle the situation. DO NOTtake any action yourself if the artist has not requested that you do so ... we want to avoid any hard feelings, messes, or wars!
If in doubt, please consider putting your posts as "Friends Only" so that only the members of the forum can see them.
We plan to maintain a contact list for our artists, as well as places that their works have been formally granted permission to use, and it will be kept in our "Memories" section. If you see their works exploited, be sure to check there first!
Finally, this community isn't about hate, but all about help ! ^_^
