Free E-Waste Recycling Event
Upcoming opportunity if you have junky old computers, TVs, etc:

Saturday, December 16th, 9am to 4pm
Hope Station thrift store
39418 Fremont Blvd. (Across the street from Red Lobster, Classic Diner, etc.)

WORKING OR NOT - NO DISPOSAL FEE

Computers, monitors, printers, FAX machines, PC speakers, keyboards and mice
TVs, stereos, Microwaves, VCR/DVD players, telephones, radios

Fremont Allied Waste customers are normally entitled to two free e-waste disposals per year - one computer system or appliance - out of the way for a lot of folks at the AW offices on Boyce (near Automall). So this may be a good thing for a lot of folks: no quantity constraints and a much more central location.

Hope Station also accepts clothing and small household goods. So while you're there, perhaps this is a good opportunity to tidy one's closets and get a little year-end tax write-off.

Blast! Missed this. I do take extra clothes there, though -- the employees are helpful and polite.
