AboutThis community is dedicated to the study and discussion of Howard Phillips Lovecraft and his writings. Anyone interested in Lovecraft is welcome to join.
What this community is for:
-Discussing/debating any and all aspects of the fiction, letters, poetry, and life of H.P. Lovecraft.
-Asking about the source of a particular Lovecraft quote.
-Asking for recommendations on which editions of certain works to read or buy.
-Sharing articles, reviews, essays, etc. on Lovecraft and his work.
I'd like this community to be centered primarily around Lovecraft, his work and criticism and analysis of it, rather than secondary Mythos fiction, role-playing games, comics, movies, plush Cthulhu dolls (hey, don't get me wrong, I've even got the slippers...), etc. I'm sure some of that stuff's bound to crop up, but I'd like to try to keep discussion here focussed on the Old Gent himself. There are loads of other communities dedicated to the COC RPG, Re-Animator, etc. Just do an interests search for Cthulhu...
