Which local artist disgusts Jerome du Bois? It could be you! Over at the The Tears of Things, local "art critic" Jerome "duBizzler" du Bois says: "This will probably be the last piece I'll be writing about local art and artists for the foreseeable future, because what I foresee is more of the same.He then lists a bunch of artists I guess he feels are too negative (or something - I can't tell if he feels they'll make him say negative things, or they themselves are negative). I know one's Beverly McIver and one's Stephanie Carrico. But, like Pokemon, one must "Catch 'em all!" | | Thursday, June 5th, 2008 | 5:08 pm [so_this_girl]

Chris Page was a theater critic for Get Out magazine for some time, and he was my friend for several years. He passed away earlier this week. The details can be found in the article. Someone was kind enough to let me know what had happened, and I know that he had a number of friends here in the Phoenix area that may or may not be aware. His friends are planning a memorial service for Saturday morning, and the details will be forthcoming in a blog on one of their myspaces, which can be found at:
