After work, Marth headed over to the library where Sheeda had been staying. It had been two years since he'd seen her. After his relationship with Eirika, the odd jobs he'd had, the strange events that had swept the kingdom, would everything be the same as before?

Regardless Marth was still curious of what he might've forgotten. Had he been hit on the head and gotten amnesia? Had Maric suffered the same? Or was there some sort of time gap between when he was taken and when she was taken. Wasn't there another who experienced the same? Was this even possible. Marth was so confused.

Sheeda was so unused to the technology of this world. It amazed her, but at the same time, scared her. She drummed her fingers on the arm of the chair she was sitting in, patiently waiting for Marth to come retrieve her.

It had only been a week since she had last seen him, yet he said it was longer - two years! Two years ago, there was no war in progress, though there were rumours and talks of it between the various kingdoms, or so her father said. Two weeks ago, the war against Garnef and Medeus had ended. That was when the talks of her and Marth's marriage began, when he proposed...

He said he didn't remember much of that, and that worried her. Perhaps she had only dreamed of it? Was Maric in the same situation as Marth, or did he remember the events as well?

Marth had mysteriously disappeared a week prior, she a week after him. It was strange, and such a coincidence...too much of a coincidence.

Whatever the circumstances, she and Marth were going to get everything straightened out, they were going to get some answers...answers she needed as well as him.

	Marth searched the library for the princess and quite easily spotted her. She looked exactly the same as he remembered. He smiled, extending a hand to her. "How are you, Lady Sheeda?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

She took his hand and returned his smile. He looked a little taller to her, certainly a bit older as well. She stood then, as was proper when one was greeting another.

"You know you don't have to be so formal with me, Marth," she commented. "We've known each other for so long..."

There was something about him that Sheeda was worried about - it looked like he had gone through so much. Had it really been two years? Hopefully this meeting would provide some answers, not just for Marth, but for herself as well.

	Marth was somewhat older, 2 years older. He was now about 20, a bit taller, and a whole lot more experience. It showed in his eyes. "If that's what you'd like," Marth said. He tended to be rather formal sometimes. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"I'd like that very much," she replied. She wasn't one for formalities, especially between friends. "So, where are we going?" she asked. "I mean, I know we're going out for tea, but are we doing that at your place or elsewhere?" Sheeda didn't really care where, just that she got to spend some time with Marth. And so he lead her from the library across the park towards the tea shop. The park was like a Japanese garden, very pleasant. The night was crisp and pleasant. So many times had he taken a walk through this park, sometimes alone, other times with Eirika.

But tonight was another story. This time he was traveling with his childhood friend, the one who took him and his guardians in when they had nowhere to go, and fought beside him during the wars. It was so pleasant to walk with her. He was quite happy.

She took in the sights, intrigued by the exotic surroundings. To her, the night couldn't have been better - and they didn't even get to the tea shop yet.

She leaned her head against his arm, relaxing at last. She was a bit nervous - she wasn't used to being in public with Marth like this - but she didn't let it affect her, didn't let it bother her. She was content, and didn't care where he led her, for she would follow. She would follow him to the end's of the earth if he wanted her to.

	Fortunately, the end of the earth wasn't their destination. It was a small tea shop. And it was right in front of them. "Here it is," he said. "It has a very large assortment of teas. It's quite pleasant." He opened the door for her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Talk. Yes. They had so much to talk about. Two years had passed here, yet one week had at home. And so much as forgotten. Maybe Marth really did have some sort of amnesia. How much had he forgotten? This possibility worried him, but he kept a soft look upon his face.

"Yes, that would be lovely," Marth agreed. "How about here?" he inquired, pulling out a chair for her. It was a quiet seat near the window.

That was a bit faster than he had expected, but then again this was Sheeda. She was quite adamant about talking about this marriage proposal and such.

"I...." he started nervously. How do you really tell someone you can't remember things? "I would like to know what sort of things I've forgotten. I feel as if there's something I simply cannot remember and it bothers me greatly."
