Hi!
New Lord of the Rings fandom... But was hoping for some help here?
I'm searching for some fanfiction [Aragorn/Legolas, of course], your favorite ones or the 'must read's' I'm sure there is a whole heap, as this fandom seems pretty big to me. [Except I'm late to the party.] I fail at trying to search for these so I was wondering whether anyone got a few/ or a lot in their memories, or rec lists around these areas. I would love it if it's not from livejournal too. <3
Any rating will do. ^^ And would love if it came with warnings too. ♥ I'm a kinky bastard yes, and Autumnverse's fics are lovely. Epic-ness [long] is a pro too.

Please Help!
About 2 or 3 years ago when I was pretty new to most fandoms and fanfiction, I was reading Legolas/Aragorn at the Library of Moria and found a fantastic fic. I later was distracted and lost the fic, forgetting it's name, author, and pretty much everything important about it. I was never able to finish it, and it drives me mad every time I think about it. I've gone through almost all the possible stories on LoM and I still can't find it again. One would have to have been with this fandom for a long time to know it, but I'm getting fairly desperate now.
It takes place post-war, and Aragorn has married Arwen and aged happily. However, he is failing in health and Legolas returns to Minas Tirith to see him. Joyful reunions occur, but later Legolas notices rings under Aragorn's fingernails and believes he is being poisoned...
Like I said, it has been a long time and my recollections are a bit sketchy. But still,
Does anybody know it? Please? |

| Desperate Search for Fan Video |

I'm really sorry if this is not the place to make this kind of request, but I've spent forever and a day internet detective-ing and I've not found anywhere as promising or active as this comm. Mods, please delete if inappropriate.
The story is this: Several years ago, I watched a brilliant Aragorn/Legolas fan video set to "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge. And now it has disappeared. Completely and utterly. I have reason to believe that the creator might be called "althea harper" but so far I have not been able to find anything. If anyone knows where I can get hold of this video again, they would earn my undying love and gratitude. (or any information on any of her fan vids at all, really).

Story:
Aragorn had it all..
Legolas lost it all..when Aragorn betrayed him.
He couldn't deal with a broken heart just as all Elves, couldn't heal, he stoped caring for life.
He threw himself into battles and perished.
Aragorn gets flashbacks on their first infatuation with each other, fighting side by side, happy times together..
He's torn apart with guilt..but, soon it becomes too late.
Aragorn does the only thing he can, to rejoin with his loved one.
He chooses to follow Legolas' path and be with him...

So what had happened was...
My hardrive crashed.
So all my favorites are gone (until DH buys a plug to transfer my old HD stuff onto the new one). I can't wait a week to retrieve my favorites, so I was wondering if someone(s) might be able to help me track down this fic I'm in love with.
1) it's unfinished- I believe the last chapter (when it was last updated) was A,L and Gimli going to see the cursed King and the "fearless" warriors.
2) it's A/L
3) it basically goes through the movie version of LOTR, following the movie pretty accurately. I believe it's in first person with L being the POV.
4) it's made of weapons grade WIN. XD
5) I'm pretty sure it has over ten chapters- give or take.
6) it might be at least six months since it was last updated maybe longer.
That's all I can remember, really.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Even if you're not sure which one I'm talking about, maybe it'll job my memory and I'll be able to chase the website and/or story down. Though I'm pretty sure it's probably been posted on this website. I'm slowly going through the archives ( have been for the last hour) but I figured it couldn't hurt to post a question.
