Night and Winter with their knives.
My warmup from the pchat we did a couple weeks ago. It's really hard for me to draw on the computer without the ability to zoom in and out.
Georgette's so hot she's ON FIYAH.
Working on drawing Temeraire. Haven't got it yet. My first thumbnails were too lizardly, then I glanced at Boots and thought 'Aha, he always did remind me of a cat.' I need to look at some bats for wing ref though.
More fiddling around with the brushpen: I don't know whether it was the paper or the way it was all covered with smudged graphite since I was inking an ancient sketch, but the pen strokes went all dry/crumbly here. I didn't fight it at all (I could have just been a little more deliberate with my marks). I also find that it fades a little after erasing, may look into alternate inks for refilling it. So in this ancient drawing, I gave her TINY HANDS (not to mention a very long nose). And inking I was like 'oh no, I still redrew her hand too tiny!' So I added the other hand at Xtra-large to compensate.
Been reading Temeraire, but I left it in Richmond. ;_; I tend to draw fat dragons.
Jonathan Strange, on the continent, scrying in a silver dish.
Dragons and tea: two timeless themes. This multicolor pencil came with some chocolate. I'm not sure what the point is. It seems so very un-useful.
Comic I did for a friend's zine.
To update my goblin, I added a teacup. It became a mess, but the idea with the helmet is that it has wing-parts that stick out over the tops of the ears, and chainmail hanging down behind. And the old one: ( I'm still no better at inking )

I meant to post this last night. Mereth being chased by a water elemental.
I guess this doesn't really qualify as a fandom, but more like something that ended up cropping up whenever I ended up drawing my various fandoms. Drawings of myself in anime/manga style definitely represent a large chunk of my drawing past, so for today, here is idealized Anime Mary, complete with telekineses (for tea parties) and a sword (for righteous avenging)!
slawinskirugi had netflixed Tweeny Witches, which wins the dubious honor of 'worst made-up name for a translated anime'. However, it has good animation, and a somewhat compelling plot--too bad it's originally poorly paced (TOO FAST) and has a very obnoxious protagonist. ANYWAY. Animation good! Sorta looks like...uh...I can't remember her name. Sheila!

Georgette and Tetro. This picture brought to you by Kendra's skills at drawing lady-butts. Thank you, Kendra, my ass consultant. I got distracted by watching the end of Lost S1, but I will work on this more later.
Two/four images and doodles, since I missed an update yesterday and Tuesday . . . and a finalized sketch of Mereth! yay! that's Malkmus. THANK YOU FOR SCANNING THESE KENDRAAAA
old picture. Bandages rock, yo.
This one's VERY good friends! ((she's using tanglevine for all your FFT nerds))

This is an early character design for my D&D character, Mereth, featured in miniature form here. I'm SUCH a dork.
In case no one knew, I am a complete and utter geek. This is a miniature for my D&D character Mereth. She's a sorcerer who specializes in making huge explosions and setting fire to whatever happens to be on hand. In the game I envision her in a gypsy kind of outfit (so nothing really like what this chick's wearing, but dammit, the model was hot.) more dorkiness ( behind the cut )
