I been playing too much Soul Calibur 4. Here's a sketch of the outfit my self-portrait character ended up wearing, glasses and all. It's...pretty similar to outfits I've worn before, that's for sure.

I'm probably way too ambitious with my first Sculpey project idea, but I'd like to do figures. So, one of the easiest characters of mine I can think of would be the Nurse.

I whipped out an old Interview mag tylercat gave me, and there was some photo of a Senator...somethingorother looking like dis.

I decided to not discard the color because I thought it looked kinda cool. Still. Practice. From life (teh malk) and from photo (everything else).

HAY guys I got this commission from my church in Harrisonburg and it eats all my sketching energy/time. I don't feel I should post final images of the sketches until they're ready, but here are some of the sketches that didn't quite work, lol.

Am busy this week, so any posts I have probably won't be too exciting.

I should profess my love of cooking, and how recently, I've felt more compelled than ever to do a bunch of baking and cooking.

Baking tends to take precedence, as my workweek is too busy to really put more than basic effort into making dinner (unless it's quesadilla night, in which case I go batshit and make delicious delicious quesadillas at the expense of my time. this generally happens on a Friday night for obvious reasons). Cooking is art+science, and I enjoy feeling like a mad scientist as I put a few drops of vanilla here and a pinch of salt there.

Anyway, cooking is inspiring. Here, have someone making a cake. Oh, and look, I'm still practicing putting backgrounds in my pieces. I know she has beefy arm syndrome©, but that's 'coz she's...that's a heavy bowl, you guys.
